Louis Tomlinson promised his fans refunds during a recent live show as he hit out at tickets being sold with no view of the stage.

The singer-songwriter, 34, is currently playing the EU and UK leg of his How Did We Get There? tour before he takes the shows to North America in June.

Louis has previously called out 'b****y horrendous' ticket prices for other artists' gigs and set his UK tour dates at a maximum of £84.80 per spot - with some as cheap as £39.40.

But despite the low ticket prices, Louis has shared he is still unhappy at the view some of his fans received.

During a recent show, Louis apologised to fans who were seated behind huge screens as he insisted he would refund them.

'I just wanna say, these tickets behind the screens, that's not right,' he said in a video shared by a fan on TikTok. 'That's not right. Send us an email, we'll refund you.

'We shouldn't be selling those tickets!'

His fans were quick to comment on the clip and share their admiration for his promise - as well as confirm he has done similar acts in the past.

They wrote: 'He did the exact same thing on his last tour so he's definitely not lying,'; 'He refunded me my tickets when the lawn was wet and moved us up,';

'Proud to say I was in that show and in fact I was behind the screens,'; 'He seems like such a good guy genuinely,';

'One of the few artists who genuinely cares about the little things like this,'; 'Never seen another artist do anything like this. I love this guy

'When you know you've chosen the best person who actually does it for people and not for money,'; 'Louis is truly a man of the people!!'

Some fans even compared Louis's promise to his former 1D bandmate Harry Styles - who came under fire after some tickets for his London and New York shows soared over £700 ($1,000).

They said: 'Ugh had harry seats behind the screens,'; 'There was sound only tickets at his Ono,';

'Oh louis would have a heart attack if he knew I paid $300 just to see a huge screen covering my view at a harry styles show in 2022.'

Harry and Louis's relationship has been complicated over the years, though both have denied rumours they fell out when One Direction split in 2016.

Sources told Daily Mail in January that the Louis was blindsided when he learned that Harry's single Aperture would be released on the same day as his new album How Did I Get Here?.

Louis had previously shared that he needed his fans to rally to give his new album 'the moment he deserved,' after it dropped on the same day as Harry's new track.

After Louis's album was released, he appeared to be aware of the conundrum for the number one bid, asking his 28.8million X followers for their 'help cutting through the noise'.

He penned: 'Going to need your help over the next few days to cut through the noise. Time to give this record the moment it deserves!'

Fans quickly took to the comments to ask the Lemonade singer if he is 'throwing shade' at his former bandmate Harry.

They wrote: '"cut through the noise" why do I feel like this is harry shade?'; 'Is he trying to shade… Harry?'; 'Oh Harry Styles when I catch you.'

Louis hasn't responded to accusations of making a dig at the Watermelon Sugar singer but did post a 'thank you' to those who had supported him.

He penned: 'Let me take this moment to say thank you to every single person that has supported me over the years. You are throughout this record and everything I do.

'This album would never have sounded the way it does without all the power and confidence you lot have given me. Thank you, thank you, thank you! How did I get here?'
