Lou Teasdale shared a gushing birthday post about her boyfriend Andy Carroll after the couple jetted off to France on a romantic ski trip.

The footballer and celebrity make-up artist pair have been enjoying a ski trip in Megève, Mont Blanc, after confirming their relationship.

They made their relationship Instagram official over Christmas, just months after footballer Andy, 36, announced his split from wife Billi Mucklow.

Sharing a collection of snaps from their snowy vacation, Lou, 41, wrote: 'Happy birthday to my favourite person I ever met ❤️.'

Lou also gave fans some insight into their luxurious trip, and looked effortlessly chic as she relaxed in black active-wear with a back drop of the snow-peaked mountains.

The couple's New Year holiday came months after he and his former TOWIE star ex Billi, 36, confirmed their divorce in September after secretly separating earlier this year, having been together for 11 years.

Lou shared a slew of snaps from her and Andy's luxurious holiday, including one of the pair cuddling in a sweet selfie.

She also shared holiday snaps showing the pair enjoying wine with an incredible view of the mountains, as well as a very cosy Alpine lodge.

Among shots shared on Sunday were photos of the pair cosying up in the snow and enjoying a delicious cheese fondue together.

While Lou sent temperatures soaring with a shot of her soaking in an outdoor hot tub, as well as snapping a number of selfies of her pouting while modelling her winter fashion.

Captioning the post, she poked fun at her boyfriend's outfits, writing: 'Megéve with Ali G x'.

The pair recently went Instagram official this week as they cosied up for a picture on a staircase.

Lou's winter break comes just days after she insisted she 'did her best' to help Caroline Flack in a heartbreaking post about suicide.

It's been five years since Caroline tragically took her own life amid a looming court case after allegedly hitting boyfriend Lewis Burton with a lamp.

Last month, the Mail revealed that Caroline's mother Christine is central to the new documentary about the late star on Disney+, which will forensically detail her last 24 hours and try to give some answers as to why she died – and whether her life could have been saved

One of the questions that Christine has been desperately seeking answers to is why Lou, and fellow friend Mollie Grosberg, left Caroline alone in her flat on the day she took her own life - with the Love Island star having made a previous suicide attempt the day before

After setting up an Ask Me Anything on Instagram on Thursday, Lou responded to a fan commenting: 'If someone is intent on suicide, nothing will stop them. You did your best, dont 4get that [sic]'.

Reflecting on her experience, Lou responded: 'Suicide has affected my life a lot over the past 10 years. As it does for many many people. If it's not you suffering personally it's someone around you.'

She continued: 'I am currently working with an amazing charity Body and Soul.

'Since experiencing and doing my best to care for 2 separate close friends around me attempting suicide numerous times without getting the professional help they need before inevitably seeing it through, I identified that between what our NHS and private health sectors offer and mental health "helplines" that raise millions of ££ a month in fundraising, there is quite literally NOTHING that actually works with and helps people who are suicidal.

'Body and Soul offer a one-of-a-kind 6 month support programme for individuals who attempt suicide and boast a 100% success rate with 0 reattempts from those who have been on their You Are Not Alone course.

'They also offer free online workshops for people close to those who attempt who are, like me, completely unqualified but on front-line supporting someone going through this. I always say suicide is contagious.

'One suicide creates enough trauma around those involved there becomes a risk of further suicides without proper support.

'After researching a lot of different initiatives this is the only one that has stood out to me that has REAL on-the-ground impact with the work they do.

'Reach out to them if you feel you need some help right now, or give them a follow and donate if you can. [sic]'

As well as her post, Lou and boyfriend Andy made a £1000 donation to the charity's You Are Not Alone programme.

The post comes after a close friend of Lou's told the Mail's of the anguish over her fallout with Christine.

'Why was it down to Caroline's friends to look after her?'they asked. 'Where was her family? Louise had to get back to her young daughter, she couldn't stay any longer.

'They had been with Caroline for hours and hours and they tried to get her to go to hospital but she wouldn't. They remained at her flat to make sure she was OK but they couldn't stay there indefinitely, so they went.

'It is devastating that they now have Caroline's mother blaming them. Christine was once so close to Lou but not any more.

'Caroline's death has haunted her friends and changed their lives, and there is a view that she should be left to rest in peace.

'But this documentary is going to drag everything up and, whether it intends to or not, runs the risk of laying blame in certain places.'

Lou has been slowly rebuilding her life in the wake of her best friend's death in February 2020 and has recently started dating footballer Andy

Lou shared a gallery of snaps of the couple spending time together over the Christmas period including a picture of the couple at Winter Wonderland.

While Andy seemed smitten with his new love, he failed to share snaps with Lou at Christmas and instead posted a plethora of gorgeous snaps with his children, showing that he also spent the holidays with them.

Meanwhile, his estranged wife Billi posed for an adorable snap with the couple's children, with the family all rocking cute Christmas pyjamas.

It comes after Andy seemingly took a swipe at his estranged wife as he broke his silence over his new romance with Lou.

Speaking to The Times Andy gushed: 'I've seen a different world since I've been with Lou, This Christmas, like she does every Christmas, she will go with her daughter to look after the isolated elderly.

'She's a volunteer for Choose Love and a campaigner for LGBTQ+. She says to me, "Why would you hate anyone?'" That's someone I need in my life.'

Andy and Billi confirmed their divorce in September after secretly separating earlier this year, with him saying in a statement: 'Billi and I have privately separated earlier this year and we are under way with our divorce proceedings.'

Despite claims Billi was 'blindsided' by the relationship, friends of hers say that she 'knew Andy had someone' but she just wasn't sure who it was. She found out about Lou shortly before the romance was made public.

MailOnline previously revealed Billi's family are furious with her estranged husband over the footballer's 'total lack of loyalty' towards her.

Her brother, another former reality star Sam, 32, has cut ties completely with the former West Ham striker after he embarked on a new relationship with Lou in the wake of his marriage split with Billi.

Sam believes Andy's actions are particularly harsh on Billi given she has brought up his two eldest children from a previous relationship - Emilie Rose, 15, and Lucas, 14 - as her own and will continue to do so despite the pair, who married in 2022, going their separate ways.
