Lottie Moss reveals she has 'next to no relationship' with supermodel sister Kate and says she feels 'bitter' her sibling 'wants nothing to do with me'

Lottie Moss has said supermodel sister Kate 'doesn't want anything to do with me' as she revealed they have 'next to no relationship'.

The influencer, 28, said she felt 'bitter' that her older sister, 52, would ignore her text messages and phone calls growing up. 

Lottie said the siblings, who have a 24-year age gap, 'grew up in different times' and they now 'don't have to all pretend to get along'.

Speaking on Olivia Attwood's podcast Olivia's House, Lottie said: 'God me and my sister is quite a tricky one and I would never normally talk about it. I never say anything she is, you know, Kate Moss and I don't want to upset her.

'But at the same time, this is my life as well and I have my own experiences with her and frankly we have next to no relationship and it's no one's fault. 

She continued: 'We grew up in different times. My dad was remarried and she, when I was born, was 21.

'We just didn't really ever bond and I think that's okay, but it's hard when you grow up and people are like, "Oh my god, your sister's got you this, your sister's got you that or how's Kate?" And I'm like, I don't know. You can text her. 

'I think I always craved when I grew up and I saw her modeling and all this I just thought she was the coolest thing ever and I just wanted a relationship with her and every time I text or called I didn't hear anything back, so that was that.

'But you know it's her life it's how she chooses to live it, but for me family is so important and like my friends are so important.

'I've learned now that I've got friends that are like my family and that it's ok that I don't need to have that relationship.'

Lottie said she was 'embarrassed' by the rejection from Kate for a long time but has since realised their relationship 'is what it is'.

She continued: 'I went through a long time where I was bitter about it and felt embarrassed because I felt she doesn't want anything to do with me or you know why, why does she not want anything to do with me.

'I felt bitter about it and I'd spoken about it previously and she got upset but I was like you are my sister too I get to talk about you because this is my experience too. 

'It is what it is really.' 

Detailing how she spent last Christmas at Kate's house, Lottie added that the sisters have never 'addressed' their relationship due to it being 'uncomfortable'. 

She added: 'My family was like that growing up, we didn't talk about anything, we didn't say anything uncomfortable, we didn't talk about my sister. 

'I'm the complete opposite and I spent last Christmas at my sister's house and I was like, let's just address it and talk about the elephant in the room, let's just be honest. Like we don't have to all pretend to get along.'
