Lizzo gave her Instagram followers quite a show on Monday, as she shared a slew of snaps and video wearing a bizarre new Halloween costume.

The singer, 36, painted her entire body bright red and donned a chestplate with large fake breasts and a bright blue wig.

She slipped into a figure-hugging white corset and tiny pair of gold thong underwear, leaving her incredible curves on full display.

Rounding out the unusual get-up, Lizzo sported a headband adorned with white wings and a pair of bejewelled sunglasses.

After sharing a number of photos striking dramatics, she posted a video dancing up storm in the costume, but swapped the corset for a miniscule bikini top.

The skimpy bra struggled to contain her ample rubber cleavage, giving an eye-popping display for fans as her top slipped down and exposed a fake nipple and causing her to burst into laughter.

Captioning the string of posts, the Truth Hurts hitmaker wrote: WHO IS THIS DIVAAAAAA?' before linking to a site called 1-800-hunnybunny.com.

The link brought fans to a website selling a eight inch polyvinyl sculpture of a character called, Hunny Bunny, looking identical to Lizzo's costume and retailing for $350.

Her followers rushed to the comments to praise the music artist on her striking and impressive look, but were left scratching their heads trying to figure out who she was dressed up as.

They begged her to explain the costume, as several admitted they had gotten her confused for SpongeBob SquarePants character Mr Crabs, The Red Guy from Cartoon Network's Cow and Chicken or a reference to Red Bull.

They wrote: 'Love the costume but who is actually this diva? Lol;  Am I the only one who doesn't know what costume is that?

'So what’s the costume ? Please someone explain; HELP I THOUGHT U WERE MR KRABS; No really, who is she, unless I don’t get the reference'.

'No disrespect to you, Lizzo but why is this costume giving me the red demon off of cow and chicken from Cartoon Network? I love the costume truly❤️'.

'Now whooooo is this supposed to be fr, genuinely asking; I though my queen was Mr crabs at first; We confused but you look tf GOOD!

'Just Google image searches this and I’m still confused. Love it but no idea what it actually is.; Red Bull gives you wings'.

While her fellow singer and collaborator on 2022 hit song Special, SZA, also commented saying: 'PLEAAASSEEE'.

Lizzo did not give any further information, but caused speculation that the Hunny Bunny character was a hint to a future project or merchandise venture.

It marked her second attention-grabbing Halloween costume in as many days, after the Good As Hell artist dressed up as 'LizzOzempic' at the weekend.

Clapping back at the South Park episode, The End of Obesity, which name-checked her with harsh skit earlier this year, she donned a bedazzled replica of the weight loss drug with a tape measure around her waist.

In one photo, Lizzo pretended to be in an advertisement for 'LizzOzempic,' which warned of fictional side effects like putting 'a smile on your face and pep in your step' with a tagline that read: 'Need self love? Try Lizzo! Lose guilt, gain confidence.'

Later, she uploaded a video of herself twerking next to someone dressed in an  inflatable costume of the South Park character, Eric Cartman.

In the South Park episode that inspired her look, Cartman learns about a weight loss drug, but is dismayed that his insurance won't cover the medication.

Since his mother cannot pay out of pocket, his doctor recommends a new drug called 'Lizzo', in a cruel jibe at the singer.

The animated series showed a fake commercial for the drug that stated: 'FDA-approved Lizzo makes you feel good about your weight, and it costs 90% less than Ozempic.

'In case studies, 70% of patients on Lizzo no longer cared how much they weighed. Lizzo helps you eat everything you want and keep physical activity to a minimum,' the ad noted.

Last month, Lizzo responded to speculation that she took Ozempic to achieve her weight loss.

Displaying her physical transformation, she mused: 'When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit'.

During an interview with the The New York Times in March, Lizzo opened up about her weight loss journey.

She said: 'I've been methodical, losing weight very slowly. I don't really see it because if anyone who's on a natural weight-loss journey knows, losing weight is actually the slowest thing in the world and you don't really notice it until you notice it.'

However, she has kept her followers updated with her journey by sharing snaps of herself working out.
