As celebrities hit up Stagecoach Festival at the weekend, Elizabeth Hurley showcased how to dress for one of the biggest events in country music for the over 50s.

The English actress, 60, made a subtle nod to the Western theme as she joined the crowds at the weekend-long event in Indio.

From sequins, fringing, glitter and cowboy boots, festival-goers rocked a variety of ensembles.

Meanwhile, Liz gave a hint of classic cowgirl, while still retaining her own chic style as she supported her partner, Billy Ray Cyrus, at the event.

She rocked a white, semi-sheer blouse with a white bra underneath, tucked into a pair of boot-cut, washed-denim jeans

Giving an extra nod to the Wild West, Liz layered over a tan-coloured suede jacket with fringing.

While some celebrities pulled out all the stops when it came to their outfits, Liz proved how you can work with what you already have, and perhaps add a slight twist.

With the actress showing how to rock suede, the Dionne Jacket by Rixo is a great way to add Western wear to your wardrobe.

Priced at £495, the archival piece is inspired by vintage souvenir jackets and features floral detailing across the back.

A safer option could be a pair of classic denim shorts; River Island have the perfect pair of cargo shorts

Featuring an elasticated waist to ensure comfort for a long weekend of dancing in the field, they can be purchased for £32.

Marks & Spencer also stocks a pure cotton T-shirt dress for £36, another good way to rock denim.

For those wanting to hop on the fringing trend, kimonos are great for both introducing tassel detailing and keeping you cool in the summer sun.

The Exotic Blooms premium sequin kimono from Joe Brown does just that and is a good option for £80.

Elsewhere, NEXT stocks a floral-print quilted jacket, priced at £62, for music-lovers who wish to add a pop of colour to their looks.

Another good option is H&M's pink denim jacket for a relaxed look and a softer, pastel coloured option for £24.99.

UK festival-goers will know better than to leave the house without a waterproof, and Primark has just the thing with their leopard print packable longline rain jacket which retails at just £8.

Another option to keep out the wet weather is the Icons Spey showerproof jacket by Barbour for £179.

When it comes to footwear, Mint Velvet's Western boots are the perfect subtle cowboy boot, featuring a pointed toe and a small, practical heel for £150.

Finally, no festival outfit would be complete without a Uniqlo crossbody bag to store everything from your suncream to hand sanitiser for just £14.90.
