Lisa Rinna has slammed Spencer Pratt's run for mayor of Los Angeles

The 62-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills veteran was asked at the American Music Awards on Monday who should be the next mayor.

'That is a good question,' Rinna replied to Variety reporter Marc Malkin, then added that a 'reality star' should not get the job.

'I am gonna say I don't know yet. Not a reality star, though. I'm sorry. I love him, but we've already done that, we're not going to do that again,' she said as she wore a tie with former President John F Kennedy on it.

She was referring to President Donald Trump, who was a reality TV star on The Apprentice before leading the country.

The former soap opera star then acknowledged that Pratt, 42, has campaign momentum. 'He's got power behind him, it seems,' she added.

The 'power behind him' may be Trump, who spoke highly of Pratt earlier this month: 'I'd like to see him do well. He's a character. I heard he's a big MAGA person,' said the President.

Rinna did not have confidence that voting for a reality TV star was a great idea.

'Listen, I'm a reality person,' she said. 'You wouldn't want me as mayor, really. I mean, let's just face it.'

She went on to say that she 'loves' Pratt and thinks 'he's amazing' but does not want him for the job as she prefers someone with more experience: 'Let's have somebody that's already been mayor, the mayor of San Jose, or whoever.'

Pratt became vocal about politics after his home in the Pacific Palisades burned down last year, forcing him to live out of a trailer and various hotels.

When Pratt was criticized for spending a few nights at the pricey Hotel Bel-Air, he snapped back on X, 'Hey guys, why don't they wanna talk about why I need a hotel in the first place? Karen Bass let my home burn down. Also, 6,000 of my neighbors. NBD.'

The former star of The Hills has frequently criticized current Los Angeles Mayor Bass and city councilwoman Nithya Raman throughout his campaign.

Pratt has raised over $500,000 for his campaign since January, surpassing Bass' reported fundraising total during the same period, according to campaign finance records reviewed by People.

This comes after Rinna made fun of another reality TV star: Kylie Jenner.

In April, she mocked Jenner's beach photo shoot with beau Timothee Chalamet by re-creating their vacation snaps.

Rinna and Hamlin imitated their poses while in the Caribbean, where they soaked in crystal clear waters just like the younger couple.

This comes after Rinna celebrated her 29th wedding anniversary with Hamlin.

Rinna – who has daughters Delilah, 27, and Amelia, 24, with her husband – shared a gushing tribute to the Mad Men actor on social media.

'29 years married to Harry Hamlin ❤️ The love of my life, sexiest man alive, chef extraordinary, best husband and father… I love you more every day,' she captioned.

The sweet words were accompanied by various photos of the pair from throughout their decades-long relationship.

The post was soundtracked by the Whitney Houston ballad I Have Nothing.

'I think this might have been our first dance song… idk 30 years is a long time [crying laughing emoji] But it was definitely Whitney Houston!' she noted.

'One of the best days of my life, followed by the birth of my girls. So grateful for this beautiful family of ours.'
