Lindsie Chrisley is facing a legal battle.
The Chrisley Knows Best alum's boyfriend David Landsman was arrested for aggravated assault/strangulation and battery on April 10 in Cherokee County, Ga., according to arrest records and an affidavit attached to Chrisley's petition for a temporary protective order obtained by E! News.
The April 13 filing alleged that she and Landsman—who was booked in the Cherokee County jail and has since been released—had an altercation on April 9 after he "saw a photo on the Petitioner's phone that he thought was a photo of another man" while they were out to dinner.
Chrisley wrote in her petition that her boyfriend of two years became "verbally aggressive" until he realized the photo was of himself. When they returned to Landsman's home after their date, she said she told him that she wanted to "step away from the relationship for the time being," to which he grew "agitated and aggravated."
When Chrisley attempted to leave his home, according to the affidavit, the situation turned physical. She accused Landsman of strangling her multiple times, including one instance, per the filing, in which he strangled her "with one hand and held her up so that her feet were off the ground" while yelling at her. Chrisley said she repeatedly asked Landsman to stop, but he didn't.
The 36-year-old alleged that after she punched him near his eyebrow amid the struggle, Landsman grabbed her "by the throat again and opened the door and threw her outside," where she said she hit her head on the concrete.
Chrisley said that after she left, Landsman called the police to make a report the next day for her punching him. The reality star wrote in the petition that she returned to his home on April 10 after authorities requested her to, where they had examined her injuries on her neck and head, according to the affidavit. After seeing the "lacerations on her head from being thrown onto the ground" and marks on her neck, Landsman was arrested.

The filing noted that Chrisley—who shares a 13-year-old son with ex-husband Will Campbell—is requesting a temporary protective order due to concerns for her and her son's safety.
She is asking that Landsman stay away from her home and her son's school, that he pay for her costs and attorney's fees in connection with the filing and that he be prohibited from selling or disposing of her property.
E! News has not been able to locate contact information for Chrisley. Landsman did not immediately respond to E News' request for comment.
