Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis embrace as they take on the waves in wetsuits while filming Freakier Friday

Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis slipped into swimwear as they continued filming Freaky Friday sequel, Freakier Friday this week.

The actress, 38 — who recently posted a radiant selfie — was spotted filming  with her on-screen mom, 65, as they took on the waves and soaked up the sun in Malibu. 

The sighting comes just days after both stars confirmed this would be their last week of filming for the hotly anticipated sequel.

A cameras rolled, Lohan was styled in a green wetsuit with white floral print that displayed her endless legs.

Her strawberry blonde locks were swept up into a messy bun as she wore a light makeup look that showed off her radiant skin.

Curtis, 65, modeled a navy and teal full-body wetsuit as she read out her lines and clung to the New York native.

Her silver locks blew in the ocean breeze while her radiant skin glistened under the sun, teaming her look with designer sunglasses.

The duo frolicked barefoot in the sand as waves crashed into them, leading to Curtis taking a tumble in on scene.

On Monday, the Parent Trap star took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message, atop a selfie, letting fans know that this would be the final week of filming for Freakier Friday.

She penned: 'Happy Monday! It’s our last Monday on the set of #freakierfriday and my heart is so full. It’s been such a great time making this film. The wonderful cast, crew and everyone from @disneystudios have invested so much time and love into making this movie! 

'Thank you to all of you!  I’m so grateful to have made this film, a story of family, mothers and their children and a film filled with love, laughter and a ton of heart! It has been a pleasure to work with my dear friend @jamieleecurtis who brings so much joy to our set everyday and she has made this all the more special!' she added.

Filming for the second installment of was announced in March and comes over two decades after the debut film was released. 

 When asked about the sequel, Lohan told People, 'I'm just excited to work with Jamie again and see how much further we can take it,' she noted after confirming she is reprising her role as Anna Coleman.

The Irish Wish star told the outlet that she thinks it will be a lot of 'fun.'

'Because we talk almost every other day in general, so I think we're going to have a lot of fun with this,' she added. 

Curtis and Lohan portrayed a mother-teenage daughter duo who magically switch bodies in the 2003 adaptation of Mary Rodgers' 1972 Freaky Friday novel. 

Fans can expect to see the sequel in theaters sometime in 2025.
