Natasha Wilson is seeking justice after a harrowing run-in with a dog.
In a lawsuit filed on Nov. 3 and obtained by E! News, the Lifetime star—who appeared in Single and Ready to Jingle, Trust in Love as well as the UnREAL series—said she has been unable to work in the two years since being bitten by a dog named Scruffy at a Los Angeles dog park.
She is suing the dog's owner Gregory Marcel, who she alleges did not have Scruffy on his leash and "could not promptly reach, control, or restrain the dog" when the animal approached her French bulldog on Nov. 7, 2024.
According to the complaint, Scruffy allegedly stood over Wilson's bulldog "in an aggressive and dominant posture" and jumped at the actress when she tried to intervene, knocking her to the ground.
Wilson then claimed that Scruffy continued to attack her while she was "on the ground attempting to shield her dog with her body and hands,” per the filing.
"During the attack, Scruffy bit [Wilson] on the face, above her right eyebrow," the lawsuit alleged. Upon seeking treatment at a local hospital, Wilson said she was diagnosed with a "facial laceration," prompting medical workers to irrigate and loosely suture her wound because of "the risk of infection associated with dog bites."
"As a result of the incident, [Wilson] suffered a laceration above her right eyebrow requiring sutures and has been left with a permanent, visible, and painful scar, an altered eyebrow hair pattern, hypersensitivity at the site of the wound, and impaired movement of the right brow," the suit read, alleging that she has also been "advised that she requires scar revision surgery and additional treatment."

Wilson said she now has permanent scarring above her right eyebrow as well as "shock and injury to her nervous system, all of which have caused "great physical, mental, and nervous pain and suffering, disfigurement, and emotional distress."
"As a further direct and proximate result of the bite, [Wilson] was prevented from attending to her usual occupation," the complaint added, "and thereby sustained a loss of earnings and an impairment of her earning capacity."
Wilson is suing Marcel for damages, including medical expenses associated with her injury.
E! News has attempted to locate an attorney for Marcel for comment but was unable to do so.
