'We are all still mourning the passing of Liam and I want the family to morn in peace and in prayer. We will all wait. With love Sam Pounds.'

Several fans rushed to the comments to thank Sam for holding on the release of the single and respecting his family.

'Thank you for respecting the family’s wishes; It's the right thing to do ! Thank you; Thank you, for giving everyone time to mourn and for leaving the decision up to Liam‘s family;

'thank you Sam… yes, we're still crying but we're always here ready for Liam's music when the time is right; Thank you for respecting the family’s decision. Hopefully it will see the day of light in better timing'.

Liam had collaborated on Do No Wrong with North Carolina singer Sam prior to his death, with three versions of the song set eventually to be released, including a live mix and a cappella single.

A source told The Mirror: 'When it emerged that Liam had been talking to new people about a series of dates, there was a great deal of unease among his friends that this was a bad idea.

'Liam had split from his management about six months ago, and it would not have been something they would have recommended at the current time.'

'I hope people feel that through every song, that I actually felt whatever it is you're feeling right now listening to this.'

He added: 'We've rewritten a lot of these songs based off the idea of where we're going with this and also how I'm feeling as a person.

'I used to show up to sing a song, then go. Absolutely not this time. We're going to have fun with this.'
