Liam Gallagher continues to troll Oasis fans struggling to get tour tickets and jokes they should just 'cancel the whole thing'- after telling critics to 'stop moaning' about £200 price

Liam Gallagher has continued to defend the price of Oasis tickets, joking they should 'cancel the whole thing' in the wake of fan backlash. 

The singer, and his brother Noel, were criticised last year for apparently using dynamic pricing – when cost is based on demand – for their reunion tour, which resulted in ticket prices soaring. 

Yet while they vowed not to use the system, the Gallagher brothers came under fire again on Friday when tickets for their 42-date 2027 European tour went on sale, starting from £170.50. Packages including VIP, hotels and coach travel tickets can cost up to £571.

After telling fans to 'stop moaning' on the first day of sales, Liam has continued to hit out at critics, taking to X/Twitter with a flurry of tweets on Saturday. 

In response to one fan tweeting: 'Liam the tickets are too expensive f**k ur 90s band,' Liam replied: 'So I’ve heard.' 

When another tweeted: 'must be nice to be liam gallagher,' Liam responded: 'It’s ok when I’m not being bullied about codes or being called mean names coz apparently the tickets are expensive.' 

After fans told Liam they were getting stressed out trying to purchase tickets, Liam shared: 'I know but what can I do this is the fairest way to do things so I’ve been told I’m getting stressed out now coz your getting stressed it’s not on. Stressification for the nation.' 

When a fan then tweeted: 'YOU SHOUD BE STRESSED OUT,' Liam sarcastically replied: 'That’s mean of you I’ll tell you what let’s just cancel the whole god damn thing.' 

Another tweet read: 'I am born and rared with oasis but I genuinely hope the sales are shit for them this year. the price, the system is all f***ed and is too available to non fans and ignores the real fans, especially the fact the timing of the registration doesn’t matter it’s a load of b******s.'

Liam responded: 'That’s mean.' 

When he was tweeted: 'liam stop being so f***ing rude not everyone can afford to spend so much money on a concert get a perspective ffs,' Liam responded: 'Your the 1 being rude and watch your language.' 

Liam then joked that fans were paying to be 'spiritually enlightened' by the show, and when a fan responded: ' that’s a lot of money for spiritual enlightenment,' Liam replied: 'Is it though.' 

As well as ticket prices, fans were left frustrated by the system for buying them – which required fans to register for a unique booking code – which would then assign them a specific date and time in which they could purchase tickets. 

Many fans have complained they didn't receive a code. Yet when one tweeted Liam: 'liam wheres my code,' he responded: 'Behind you.' 

When another asked: 'if you werent in oasis would you go see oasis,' Liam replied: 'I mean if I was lucky to get a code I’d defo try.'

Another fan bemoaned the booking system, tweeting: 'have you ever had to fight in a Ticketmaster war liam was it this STRESSFUL when u were 20 trying to get tickets to a show.' 

Liam then quipped: 'No I’d always get in for free coz I had a spiritual glow and it would blind people so I’d just walk past.' 

Not everyone was against Liam, however, with one fan reasoning:  'When you deep the prices for oasis I don’t think £170 for that isn’t too bad. It’s £70 to see Ashcroft alone. Throw in another support say marr or blossoms that’s £40-60. Then oasis probably for the final time.. Dont think that’s *Too* bad.' 

Pleased for some support, Liam replied: 'HALLA F***ING LULU finally oh and there’s quite a few more support acts to be announced but we don’t care about that though coz OASIS are greedy bumba f***ing clarts.'

Another supporter penned: 'You are a gooden aren't you? Out here taking on all the questions at a very stressful time in your fans lives. No other famous singers would ever do this.'

Liam replied: 'Exactly they’d all be on holiday supping bubbles I’m in the trenches with you cats.' 

Oasis Live 27 will see the group play 42 shows in Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Italy, the US and Ireland.

In the UK, ticket sales are taking place over three days, ending on Sunday, with three selling windows each day.

The band have told fans to be wary of scammers attempting to impersonate Oasis or their ticket partners.

In a statement, they wrote: 'Important: We have been made aware of possible Oasis ticket scams.

'As ticket information and unique codes are about to be distributed, please remain vigilant.

'Scammers may attempt to impersonate Oasis, our mailing list or our ticket partners.

'Please do not accept a code that is not sent by [email protected].'

Demand for the tour has been so great that Oasis added four extra dates, including two at Knebworth on September 25 and 26, where they famously played two concerts in August 1996 to an audience of more than 100,000 fans each night.

The band reunited last year for their Live 25 tour, which sold out within minutes of tickets going on sale, and was estimated by Forbes to have generated more than £293million in revenue.

Their reunion came after a longstanding feud between the brothers when the band split in 2009 – reportedly prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in France.

Yet despite the hype, the band came under fire for the price of the tickets after they were subject to dynamic pricing. 

When Oasis confirmed their 2025 reunion tour, the price of standard tickets doubled from £148 to £355.

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) found no evidence that dynamic pricing was used during the Oasis tour but said in a statement they 'risked giving consumers the misleading impression that platinum tickets were better'. 

The CMA instructed Ticketmaster to change the way it labels tickets and reveals prices to fans in the future. 

'At Ticketmaster, we strive to provide the best ticketing platform through a simple, transparent and consumer-friendly experience,' a spokesperson told the BBC. 'We welcome the CMA's input in helping make the industry even better for fans.'
