Leigh-Anne Pinnock says Celebrity Traitors has helped restore her 'confidence and voice' after 'shrinking herself' in Little Mix

Leigh-Anne Pinnock has credited Celebrity Traitors for restoring her 'confidence and voice' after 'shrinking herself' in her former pop group Little Mix.

The singer, 35, found fame alongside bandmates Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson in 2011 after winning The X Factor.

Despite reaching world wide success, Leigh-Anne admitted being a group 'lowered her voice' as she admitted 'it takes time for her to come out of herself' off stage.

Speaking to her co-stars on Thursday's episode of Celebrity Traitors, Leigh-Anne emotionally said having to defend herself in the game has improved her confidence.

'Having to defend myself in this game has given me a bit of confidence to have a voice', she said.

'I do tend to do this thing where I kind of shrink myself a little bit, and I don't know if that's from being in a group.

'When I'm on stage, I'm on stage. When I'm off stage, I'm just Leigh-Anne, and I think it does take me a little bit of time to completely come out of myself.'

Leigh-Anne embarked on a solo career in 2023 following the indefinite hiatus of the girl band in 2022.

Celebrity Traitors viewers were left completely floored by Thursday's bombshell twist as James Acaster finally cracked under the pressure.

In the show's biggest twist yet, the comedian revealed he was a Traitor at the roundtable, before the vote had even begun.

Fans dubbed the moment the most 'unprecedented twist in TV history' as they were left on the edge of their seats.

Reacting to the scene, users on X wrote: 'Nah James A just gave up on the game completely what am I watching',

'JAMES JUST OUTING HIMSELF AS A TRAITOR AT THE ROUND TABLE', 'easily the most unprecedented twist in traitors history',

'Our entire living room when James Acaster said he was a traitor before the vote took place #CelebrityTraitors',

'What a plot twist. I didn’t think James would confess like that. But I’m proud of him. He left on his own terms'.

'James A outing himself as a Traitor was truly one of the most shocking moments in the show’s history'.

Acaster and Maya Jama both came under fire, as the Faithfuls linked them to Ross Kemp's murder in plain sight.

The Love Island host, 32, defended herself, particularly against Michael Sheen, 57, who said: ‘If you are Traitors, you’ve done it brilliantly.’

Sheen then turned to Acaster, 41, and quizzed him on the specifics of the murder in plain sight, including how he knew about the deadly perfume bottle.

‘I understand how you’ve put it all together,’ Acaster responded, adding: ‘I can’t really argue that it sounds feasible, and that sounds like it could have happened. I can promise you that I didn’t spray him.’

Then, speaking to the group, he shockingly said: ‘I just want to explain my situation. I was made a Traitor without wanting to be.

‘I’ve had a unique experience on this that no one has had before, where I wanted to be a Faithful; that’s all I wanted to be. I couldn’t just go, “Guys, it’s me, vote for me.” But that’s all I can do, really.’

Acaster, Ms Jama, and King Kenny, 29, chose to kill Scottish actress Sharon Rooney, 38, despite the actress having heat on her from the previous roundtable.

Viewers also bid farewell to Faithful Joanne McNally, 43, who was banished after last week’s cliffhanger.
