Though he has a particular affinity for multiplayer titles like World of Warcraft, Destiny 2 and League of Legends, he has also put thousands of hours into single-player experiences, from deep RPGs to epic PC strategies. When he's not playing or writing, he can usually be found supporting his beloved Brentford FC.
The Legend of Zelda series has enjoyed some real, genuine high points over the years, and though everyone has their own personal favorites, Twilight Princess is seen as one of them for most people.
The move over to a more realistic style may have been a little jarring at first, but the game has aged very well as a result, and Twilight Princess comes with some of the best gameplay and story elements in series history to sweeten the deal. As such, it's little wonder that the community is always looking for new ways to play it, and a fresh trailer confirms there's one more way for them to do so.
The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess Is Back... Again
Over on YouTube, you can find the brand-new trailer for Dusk, a Twilight Princess PC port, which comes about as a result of a collaboration between members from the Twilight Princess Decompilation team, the speedrunning community, and the Aurora team.
Dusk is actually the second PC port project for Twilight Princess, with fans now relatively spoiled for choice if they are looking to play the game without a GameCube or Wii. Though it's a bit of a work in progress at this juncture, everything we can see so far looks great, and it's safe to say that fans in the responses were happy to see it debut.
"Ah yes, two separate PC ports. I love this community so much," one comment read.
"Just hook it to my veins!!! I've been playing too much Ocarina and Majora, I NEED that Twilight bitter-sweetness!" another added.
"Huge shout out and thank you to all these geniuses who work on this stuff voluntarily. You guys are the true heroes! God bless," a third said.
Dusk Is One Of TWO Twilight Princess PC Ports
Custom Image by Matthew WilcoxAs mentioned earlier, Dusk is actually the second of two PC ports, joining Courage Reborn in providing players with new ways to play a classic game. The projects come after the code for the game was successfully decompiled by technical wizards, allowing home developers to work on bringing it across to the PC more freely.
All of this comes at the perfect time for Zelda fans, who are largely still waiting for Nintendo to pull the proverbial trigger on some big announcements for 2026, to mark the franchise's 40th birthday. Rumors continue to swirl that an official Ocarina of Time remake is on the way as part of that, but we'll just have to sit tight and wait to hear more.
