The Legend of Zelda series has seen a lot of different games come to pass over the years, but few have been on quite the same journey as The Wind Waker. Its arrival was received more negatively than almost any other Zelda game in history, as fans yearned for a more realistic take that struck the same notes as the GameCube tech demo that had appeared previously.
Since then, however, it has only grown in appreciation, to the point where it is now one of the most popular and beloved games in the series, with plenty of admirers the world over. Now, a new release celebrates that fact further and in a medium that we almost never see in the world of video games.

Over on FansSite.be, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker breakfast set with mug and bowl has been made available for fans to pre-order. As you might expect, it's essentially a two-person breakfast set with illustrations and iconography from the game, all rendered on blue ceramic that looks surprisingly premium for a product of this type.
So fans know better what to expect, the manufacturer shared the following description:
"Start your morning as if you were setting sail across the Great Sea with Link. 🌊 This breakfast set inspired by The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker brings a touch of Hyrule to the table, with a mug and a spacious bowl for your next adventure.
- Set with a mug and bowl themed around The Wind Waker
- Mug capacity: 384.5 ml
- Bowl capacity: 857.6 ml
- Set dimensions: 18.5 × 18.5 × 15 cm
- Officially licensed The Legend of Zelda product
Give the set a place in your Zelda collection, or use it to start your day with a little more adventure."
As much as a Legend of Zelda ceramic set feels like a strange release when you hear about it, this one really does look very nice, and The Wind Waker is the perfect choice stylistically to bring it to life. As mentioned earlier, it isn't out just yet, but the officially licensed release has been made available to pre-order for those who plan to get it.
The store is based in Belgium and the items are priced at €24.99, which roughly equates to around $28.00. International shipping is also available, though you will obviously have to pay a premium above those who live in Europe and the immediate area around Belgium.
Outside of that, there's so much for Legend of Zelda fans to look forward to that it should be a genuinely bumper few years if all goes well. Up to bat first is the Ocarina of Time Remake, which drops next month to millions of waiting fans who want to recapture that little piece of their childhoods where everything was a lot simpler. That makes way for the arrival of the first feature film in franchise history in April next year, possibly marking the first step of a burgeoning franchise that could roll on for years to come.
