Best known for her role as Maggie in The Walking Dead, Lauren Cohan has also starred in dozens of other projects over the years you may have seen. A few years ago, Cohan made her debut in the Invincible universe on Prime Video as War Woman, but she has not returned to the role in any of the recent seasons, and her status in the show going forward is uncertain. Fans loved her role as Maggie so much in The Walking Dead, though, that she was brought back to star opposite Jeffrey Dean Morgan in one of the franchise’s many spin-offs, The Walking Dead: Dead City. The third season of The Walking Dead: Dead City recently wrapped up in mid-September on AMC, and the fate of the show beyond Season 3 has still yet to be decided.

Even if Lauren Cohan isn’t given a chance to return as Maggie in another season of The Walking Dead: Dead City, though, she does have other roles to fall back on. This afternoon, news broke that Cohan is among the names to join the cast of the new Prime Video series, Stillwater, as a series regular. She will play Catherine ‘Cat’ Keegan, who is described as a “former homecoming queen whose small-town charm has sharpened into something fiercer thanks to decades of old grudges and regrets.” Other names to join the cast that were announced today include Mark O’Brien and Mia Tomlinson. The show is based on the popular Skybound graphic novel that was written by Chip Zdarsky and Rámon K. Perez. It’s a horror thriller set in the small town of Stillwater, where no one ages and no one escapes.

What Else is Streaming on Prime Video Right Now?

The most-watched TV show in the world on Prime Video right now is Carrie, which is based on the Stephen King-written novel of the same name. Following behind Carrie in the Prime Video top 10 is the fourth season of Reacher (starring Alan Ritchson), as well as the first season of its spin-off, Neagley (starring Maria Sten). Both Reacher and its spin-off have been renewed for new seasons. The most popular movie on Prime Video at the time of writing is The Love Hypothesis, which is based on the hit novel by Ali Hazelwood.

Stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage on the first season of Stillwater, as well as all of Cohan’s future projects.
