LAURA CRAIK: Supermodel Cindy Crawford is back on the New York catwalk at 60

She was the ultimate symbol of Nineties glamour before quitting full-time modelling in 2000.

But Cindy Crawford made a sensational catwalk comeback at the Gucci resortwear fashion show in New York at the weekend.

Looking as beautiful as in her supermodel heyday, Ms Crawford, 60, made a surprise appearance in a dramatic, black-feathered gown.

Her hair was styled in her signature glossy waves as she closed the star-studded show. Paris Hilton and former American football player Tom Brady were also on the catwalk while Mariah Carey, Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton were in the front row.

Ms Crawford’s return is a rare cameo since retiring. She last took to the catwalk in 2022 in Paris.

Her lookalike daughter, Kaia Gerber, however, has not been so shy of the limelight.

Last week, she glammed up to promote her upcoming FX series The Shards at the 2026 Disney Upfront, which was held Tuesday at the Jacob Javits Center in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of New York City.

The 24-year-old DNA Model flaunted her taut tummy in a black long-sleeve crop-top, which accented her cleavage as well.

Gerber paraded her slim 5ft 9in figure in a matching pencil skirt and peep-toe cha-cha heels selected by stylist Siena Montesano Gones.

The Los Cabos-bronzed beauty fully contoured her complexion and wore lip gloss, but her middle-parted brunette mane looked a bit limp.

TV viewers might not be aware that FX and 20th Television, which produced Ryan Murphy's serial killer thriller, is actually owned by the wholesome Walt Disney Company.

She was joined at the event by her castmates Igby Rigney and Homer Gere who, like Gerber, is a nepo baby with Richard Gere (An Officer and a Gentleman, Pretty Woman) as his famous father.

Ms Crawford herself was spotted at the end of last month sweetly holding her husband Rande Gerber's hand in Malibu.

The lovebirds were leaving a dinner at Lucky's steakhouse to celebrate his 64th birthday. 

Also in the party was former professional tennis player John McEnroe and several female friends who were seen saying goodbye to each other by the valet stand. 

Crawford and Gerber wore matching outfits as they both had on dark tops and blue jeans with deep tans from their recent vacation in Mexico with Kaia.
