Laura Byrne and her husband Matty 'J' Johnson have made scathing comments about Kyle Sandilands amid the collapse of his KIIS FM breakfast show.
Fans of The Kyle & Jackie O Show were left stunned on Tuesday when it was announced that Jackie 'O' Henderson's contract had been terminated after she told executives she 'cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands' following his harsh comments on air that left her in tears last month.
Both Laura, 39, and Matty, 38, who met on The Bachelor in 2017, wasted no time in letting their feelings be known about the infamous shock jock after Kyle made Jackie cry and chastised her alleged 'fixation' with astrology.
Commenting on an Instagram post discussing the clash, Laura did not hide her disgust at Kyle's behaviour.
'Humiliating your co-host on air until they cry,' she wrote. 'Nice.'
Her husband also slammed Kyle in a subsequent Instagram post announcing Jackie's departure.

'Who would have thought that years of casual misogyny on radio might have consequences,' he wrote.
The post was met with a flurry of comments, with many, including former Miss Universe Olivia Molly Rogers, stepping into Jackie's corner.
'Finally! She’s so much better without him,' she wrote.
Laura and Matty J appear to have taken issue with Kyle after their best friend and Laura's podcast co-host Brittany Hockley was dragged into a 'slut-shaming' row with Abbie Chatfield when Brittany played Kyle's co-host while filling in for Jackie on the KIIS FM show back in 2022.
Abbie lashed out after learning Brittany and Kyle had joked about her dating life while interviewing American rapper Yung Gravy on the show.
While Kyle was the one leading the interview with the singer, Abbie said Brittany was complicit in his 'misogyny' by refusing to speak up.
Brittany posted a statement on Instagram a day later in which she apologised for her involvement in the 'misogynistic' jokes, and insisted she had always been an advocate for female empowerment.
'I want to apologise for the undercurrent misogynistic tones the interview had,' she began.

'The nature of live radio is unpredictable and often unplanned, which was the case with the direction the conversation took. Live on radio I found myself in a position where Abbie and I were pitted against each other.'
Brittany, who co-hosts the podcast Life Uncut, assured her fans she had never meant to 'make anyone feel shameful' about enjoying sex.
Kyle was also present when Brittany burst into tears during another moment live on air.
She cried when Kyle's brother Chris called into the show to tell her how terrible she was as a breakfast radio host.
'Here's the problem with Brittany, right? Within the first five minutes of you being on that show, you changed it from O News to B News,' he said when Kyle asked why he didn't like the stand-in host.
Kyle attempted to keep the conversation light, asking his younger brother to 'give Brittany a go'.
'I've been giving her a go. I've been listening to the show, but yeah, I don't know. I won't be listening over summertime that's for sure,' he replied.
'Well, that's alright, that doesn't worry me,' Brittany said, sounding downcast.

The former Bachelor star was also left in tears when Sandilands' brother Chris called in to tell her how terrible she was as a breakfast radio host
But rather than leaving it there, Chris went on to slam the sound of her voice, saying: 'And it's just that podcasting voice that you've got mate. I can't handle it. It's not breakfast radio for me.'
Kyle told Brittany that her podcast Uncut was 'very good' and 'award-winning' but at this point, she began to tear up.
'I've got nothing else to contribute to the conversation to be honest,' she managed to say.
KIIS FM's parent company Australian Radio Network (ARN) announced on Tuesday that The Kyle and Jackie O Show was over after Jackie's $100 million, 10-year contract had been terminated following her on air bust-up with Kyle last month.
It was also revealed that Kyle's actions during the February 20 altercation constituted 'an act of serious misconduct.'
Kyle has been suspended and given 14 days to 'remedy' the breach, or else faces termination.
