Laura Anderson says she's got the 'family' she always wanted with ex Gary Lucy's ex-wife Natasha and her kids

Former Love Island star Laura Anderson says she's got the 'family' she always wanted with her ex Gary Lucy's ex-wife Natasha and her four children. 

The television personality, 37, spoke about the holiday to Turkey she went on with her daughter Bonnie, three, and Natasha and the family. 

Natasha and Hollyoaks star Gary split in 2018 after 14 years of marriage and together share two sons and two daughters. 

Meanwhile, Laura parted ways with Gary during her pregnancy with Bonnie in early 2023. They briefly tried to reconcile before Bonnie was born but parted ways permanently and have publicly spoken out against one another since. 

Laura appeared on the CBeebies Parenting Download podcast, where she spoke about the joy of having a blended family. 

Laura said: 'We went on a holiday recently me and the ex-wife. It was incredible to see my daughter with her half-siblings, because I don't really want her to be an only child. They got on so well and they're so alike. 

'Everyone was saying "oh my god you're doing something amazing for the kids". We genuinely get on.

'I, as I said before, really have always just wanted to have a family and I've got Bonnie. But going on this holiday just almost gave me everything I wanted in a weird way. Even though, you know, it was two mums together and her four kids.

'It was almost like I wanted to see and feel Bonnie be loved and that made me feel loved.

'Love comes in all forms, I hope society is catching up with that.'

Laura added they are planning on going on holiday again next year.

Laura has been embroiled in a war of words with ex Gary over their daughter Bonnie in recent months. She has in the past publicly accused him of not seeing their daughter.

She has also claimed she'd been forced to miss out on work and time with the tot because 'co-parenting and financial support didn't exist'.  

And after Laura's swipe at fathers who 'hide their income', Gary hit back in a furious rant. 

He posted a quote which read: 'The narcissist's greatest asset for leverage is a child. Children of narcissists are collateral damage in their game of control'.

Before adding: 'Don't forget... exploiting the child for financial gain on socials anything to keeps em "relevant" [sic]'.
