The big Memorial Day deals might be starting to come to an end, but PlayStation's Days of Play sale is just getting started. There are discounts on games, hardware and services, and it's the last one that we're interested in here.
This rare PlayStation Plus deal means you can save up to 33% off your membership, depending on which tier you choose. The biggest discount comes on the Premium plan, but there are savings to be had across the range.
The only catch is that you need to stump up for a full year's subscription to save, but it's worth doing if you know that you'll be using PlayStation Plus in 12 months' time.
Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.
There are three tiers of PlayStation Plus available, with the Essential plan on offer for $64 -- a 20% discount. That subscription offers access to online multiplayer, exclusive discounts and free monthly games. You'll also get support for cloud storage, Share Play and "exclusive content," whatever that turns out to be.
Move up to the Extra tier and you'll save 25% and pay $101 for a year's access. You get everything the Essential plan offers, plus access to hundreds of games already in the PlayStation Plus catalog as well as Ubisoft Plus Classics.
At the pinnacle of the lineup, we have the Premium plan. That offers the full 33% discount, so you'll pay $107 for the year. That makes this a better option than the Extra plan, thanks to support for game trials, cloud streaming and access to PlayStation's catalog of classic games -- plus everything you get with the two lower tiers, too.

Why this deal matters
PlayStation Plus deals don't come around all that often, so it's always worth taking advantage of them when they do. These discounts are available across all three tiers of membership, although you do save the most when choosing PlayStation Plus Premium.
