Larry Emdur and his wife Sylvie were spotted eyeing up a luxury $20million Sydney mansion as he looks set to add to his extensive property portfolio.

The TV host, 59, appears to have his eye on another huge prize just days after taking home the esteemed Gold Logie at the 2024 awards ceremony.

Larry and his wife Sylvie were spotted viewing a lavish five-bedroom mansion in Darling Point on Monday as they seemed to be expanding their housing empire.

The loved-up couple, who will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary this year, kept a low-profile as they went to view the sprawling mansion.

The three-bathroom home has just hit the eastern suburbs' trophy market, and is slated for auction with a breathtaking price guide of $20million.

Positioned on one of Darling Point's most prestigious streets, the historic 1900s residence lies across 727sqm and boasts stunning manicured gardens.

The two-level mansion has been given an extensive renovation by Paddington architecture firm Hancock Architects, and boasts a covered entertainment terrace, gorgeous marble kitchen and modern pantry.

It is the perfect pad for entertaining as it has a large 10-person dining room, a cellar and a mud room among its lavish amenities, as well as a heated swimming pool.

The master bedroom has two private dressing areas and an en-suite and the home also features a sunroom with harbour views, numerous living rooms, two additional powder rooms and a large separate laundry.

The property boasts bespoke finishes from Venetian plaster walls to French Oak floors, while there is also internal access to a two-door garage.

The impressive mansion was last sold for $5.9million in 2016 to real estate investor James Finney, who is only the third owner of the home in its almost 120-year history.

The Morning Show star Larry is an experienced hand in trading in luxury real estate to boast his seven-figure TV salary and has a vast property portfolio.

He has been making some big changes to his empire in recent years, buying and selling a string of investment properties as he keeps up to date with the markets.

As he could be set to acquire yet another mansion, Daily Mail Australia breaks down Gold Logie winner Larry's long list of luxury purchases and sales.

Neverfail Bay

Larry and his wife Sylvie are currently building a stunning home in Neverfail Bay after scooping up a sought-after plot in the area back in 2021.

The couple bought the block of land, which last sold for $575,000 in 1999, for $1million and are now transforming it into a stunning property.

The area, which is only accessible by boat, is their second home in the area after they previously owned architect-designed weekender in Berowra Waters.

Earlier this week, Larry told his 158,000 Instagram followers that there's been plenty of recycling amid the huge amount of building work.

Giving fans an update on the renovation, Larry recently shared a funny video of himself using a leaf blower at the property and gave a candid insight into his and Sylvie's relationship.

Alongside the video, he cheekily penned: 'Sylvie: Hey bub you promised me you'd vacuum today. Me: ok.'

Darling Point and The Rocks apartments

Their latest viewing in Darling Point doesn't mark Larry's first interest in the area as he and Sylvie are believed to also own a $7.35million apartment nearby.

Little is known about the property, but it no doubt serves as the ideal city pad for the Aussie power couple.

Larry and Sylvie, who are set to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary this year, traded in their $4.3million pad in The Rocks in March 2022 to relocate to the area.

Larry sold his lavish Art Deco apartment, which has three bedrooms and a private lift entry, in The Rocks in April 2022, just five years after first buying it.

The couple flogged the property through their son, Jye Emdur, who is an agent on the sales executive team for Ray White TRG.

The unit was a conversion of a 1924 building that was previously used as a depot for the Cadbury confectionary company.

Tanner Kibble Denton Architects were behind the impression conversation from a depot into six luxury apartments.

Berowra Waters weekender

Back in 2020, Larry and Sylvie shelled out a huge $1.1million for a holiday home in Berowra Waters, New South Wales.

The The Morning Show host, 55, purchased the luxurious property as a getaway from his city home in Sydney.

'The magical bay is much quieter than Bondi,' Larry previously told The Daily Telegraph of the area.

The property is only accessible via a boat and boasts sweeping views across the river and national park.

It features two large bedrooms, with the main featuring a full-bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and a large balcony.

It also features a fully-equipped art studio, gourmet style kitchen, and a large open plan living area which includes a fireplace.

Sylvie performed extensive renovations on the holiday getaway, including rebuilding the jetty on the property's waterfront.

However, just four years after making the purchase, Larry sold his bushland retreat after having it on the market for nine months.

The riverfront property sold for $1.9million after it was originally listed with an asking price of $2.5million in May 2023.

Kangaroo Valley holiday home

No stranger to holiday homes, the couple also owned a stunning property in Kangaroo Valley, before offloading the home last year.

They sold their designer container home in the idyllic area for a slashed price of $2.78million in May 2023.

The reduction came after it failed to sell for an asking price of $3.5million just three months earlier.

However, it still marked a nice profit for the couple after they paid $2.15million for the Sky Ridge home back in 2020.

They had been renting it out for between $1000 to $1200 a night as a short stay holiday destination, raking in further income from the purchase.

The couple also spent many weekends in the luxurious four-bedroom property, which was nicknamed the 'Black Barn' due its to industrial feel.

The off-the-grid abode, designed by architect Alexander Michael in 2018, blends steel, glass and polished concrete floors with eco-friendly touches, such as solar panels and rainwater harvesting.

Larry, Sylvie, and their real estate agent son Jye added a sunrise yoga deck and a swimming pool at a later date.

Bondi beach investment

One of his longest real estate holdings was his investment property down Bondi Beach, which he first snapped up in 2001.

After buying the seaside property for a mere $400,000, Larry marked a huge profit when it sold for $1.055million at auction in early 2021.

He had previously been raking in $850 a week in rent on the investment Art Deco property, which proved popular with renters.

The apartment is a short stroll from the sand and features two bedrooms, a spacious living room and a dining area.

It also has a modern kitchen, a tiled bathroom and concealed laundry facilities and maintains many of its original features, including stunning high ceilings.

Dover Heights mansion

Larry famously sold his clifftop mansion in Dover Heights to celebrity accountant Anthony Bell in 2017 for a suburb record.

The deal was easily the biggest ever for a house in the sought-after beachside suburb, which is home to many well-heeled socialites.

Larry had purchased the home for $6.8million back in 2011, and real estate offers described Anthony's unsolicited offer of $11.5million as 'too good to refuse'.

The purchase smashed the $9.5million paid in 2014 for a similar mansion by South African tech investor Kevin Bermeister and his wife Beverley.

Larry and Sylvie had lived in the suburb for more than two decades, having upgraded from another house, which they paid $770,000 for in 1994.

Tamarama investment property

Larry and Sylvie previously boasted an investment property in Tamarama, in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

Larry paid $387,500 in 1997 for the beachside apartment and later put it on the rental market for $1075 per week.

However, in December 2022, the couple offloaded the Alexander Street residence for $1.8million, selling it through their son Jye at his firm TRG.

The apartment boasts two bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as impressive views of the coastline.

Daughter Tia's Bellevue Hill apartment

In 2018, doting parents Larry and Sylvie also pitched in to help their then 19-year-old daughter, Tia, buy an apartment in Sydney's Bellevue Hill.

The Emdur family spent $1.08million on the three-bedroom, one-bathroom unit, which lies is only five minutes away from their former family home in Bondi.

The top floor apartment features three bedrooms, one bathroom and views of the leafy suburb.

Tia's first venture into the real estate market had previously sold at $525,000 in 2007, and in 2017, the property was valued at $980,000.
