And so is her dad, Larry Birkhead—who shares the 18-year-old with the late Anna Nicole Smith—after he managed to snag a life-size cutout of the X-Men star for his daughter as a holiday surprise.
“All Dannielynn wanted for Christmas was Hugh Jackman under the tree,” Larry, 51, wrote in an Instagram post Dec. 27, alongside photos of the teen with her present. “Since he wasn’t available, the next best thing had to do.”
The former photographer explained that he also tried to gift Dannielynn tickets to the actor’s Broadway play, From New York With Love, along with a meet-and-greet at the show, but the package sold out before he could get the job done. Fortunately, when new tickets became available leading up the holidays, Larry managed to pull off a Christmas miracle, tacking on the cutout as an added bonus.
“So, technically speaking, she got her wish, which saved Christmas,” he continued. “I’m just a Dad making dreams come true one day at a time.”
As for Dannielynn’s new cutout of the Deadpool & Wolverine actor, Larry added that it’s “already in her room.”
In the years since Dannielynn’s mom Anna Nicole passed away—which came just five months after giving birth to her daughter in 2007—Larry has made sure their daughter’s connection to the late star remains strong.
“We talk about her a lot at home,” Dannielynn told E! News' Francesca Amiker in May, “and share stories and funny things.”
As for what her future holds, she revealed she has her heart set on pursuing forensics as well as Japanese studies.
“I really have loved forensics ever since I was a kid,” Dannielynn elaborated. “I would watch Dateline all the time. So I just find it really interesting, and I also love Japan and the culture and the language. So I was like, ‘Oh, I can do those two things I love.’”
