Lana Del Rey proved she has a heart of gold as she helped a victim of domestic abuse that she met while driving in Los Angeles.
The singer, 41, was filming a video of herself while cruising and listening to Rubberband by Tate McRae when she noticed a woman holding a sign outside her window at a stoplight.
She posted the clip to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, writing, 'When you're listening to Tate's song about Highland when you're sitting at a light on Highland and a woman sticks a sign on your window that says trying to stay out of an abusive relationship.'
The star - who previously hit back at allegations that she 'glamorizes abuse' in her lyrics - was pictured reaching into her wallet and pulling out what appeared to be a $100 bill before handing it to the fleeing survivor.
'You got me when I was filming,' she told her, as the woman replied, 'Thank you so much.'
The singer then advised the vulnerable stranger, 'Well, try and stay away.'

The woman then asked, 'What's your name?'
After Del Rey politely introduced herself, the passerby told her, 'God bless you. Thank you so much.'
The hitmaker then cautioned the woman, telling her to 'be careful.'
After rolling up the window, she said to the camera, 'I was not expecting that' before explaining that the woman's sign read: 'Fleeing an abusive relationship.'
It comes six years after the star hit back at critics who accused her of 'glamorizing abuse' in her songs.
When she released the artwork for her single Blue Jeans in 2012, many felt it was promoting domestic violence since it featured a man choking her.
Over the years, several of her tracks have courted controversy, including her 2014 song Ultraviolence, which raised eyebrows for the polarizing line: 'He hit me and it felt like a kiss.'
In May 2020, Del Rey addressed some of the criticisms in an Instagram post, writing that she had been unfairly 'crucified' over her lyrics, while artists like Ariana Grande and Beyonce often sing about 'f*****g' and 'cheating.'

Del Rey's fans are anxiously awaiting her next album Stove, a follow-up to her 2023 record Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd; Seen in 2025
'Now that Doja Cat, Ariana, Camila [Cabello], Cardi B, Kehlani, Nicki Minaj, and Beyonce have had number ones with songs about being sexy, wearing no clothes, f*****g, cheating, etc. – can I please go back to singing about being embodied, feeling beautiful by being in love even if the relationship is not perfect, or dancing for money – or whatever I want – without being crucified or saying that I’m glamorizing abuse?' she asked.
'I just want to say over the last 10 years, I think it’s pathetic that my minor lyrical exploration detailing my sometimes submissive or passive roles in my relationships has often made people say I’ve set women back hundreds of years.'
'I’m just a glamorous person singing about the realities of what we are all now seeing are very prevalent emotionally abusive relationships all over the world.'
Lana wrote that she 'paved the way' for 'other women to stop putting on a happy face' and to just be able 'to say whatever the hell they wanted to in their music.'
In 2014 she also came under fire after she called feminism 'an uninteresting concept' to Fader magazine.
'For me, the issue of feminism is just not an interesting concept. I'm more interested in, you know, SpaceX and Tesla, what's going to happen with our intergalactic possibilities,' she explained.
'Whenever people bring up feminism, I'm like, "God." I'm just not really that interested.'
