Lana Del Rey steps out in Daisy Dukes shorts and camo CLOGS after marrying alligator swamp guide

Lana Del Rey has a knack for blending vintage Americana with rugged, outdoor style, and her outfit took center stage once again as she emerged from a church service in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

The Summertime Sadness singer, 40, was dressed in high-cut Daisy Duke denim shorts with frayed edges that showed off her long and toned legs. She added a cozy off-white sweater paired with camouflage clogs.

Del Rey, who wed Louisiana alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene in September 2024, was accompanied by a lady friend on this occasion.

She was beaming a smile as she left Churchome, a celebrity-endorsed church whose services are frequently attended by the likes of Justin and Hailey Bieber, Selena Gomez, Kourtney Kardashian, Ciara and Russell Wilson among others.

Del Rey's Louisiana bayou wedding to Dufrene was officiated by Churchome pastor Judah Smith. It marked her first marriage and the second for Dufrene, who has three children, two sons and a daughter, with his ex-wife Gina Fahrig.

The native New Yorker - who wore a vintage wedding dress bought at a New Orleans thrift store for a reported $400 – maintains a generally private life with her new husband.

Del Rey has shown a strong support for his profession and called him the 'most impactful person in [her] life,' per Rolling Stone.

He is airboat captain and tour guide at Airboat Tours by Arthur in Des Allemands.

Defrene is not a commercial hunter of the large reptiles. Rather, he feeds and engages with the alligators in the private swamplands where he operates, fondly calling them his 'Cajun yard dogs,' as seen in his Instagram videos.

The couple first met when she took one of his swamp boat tours while in town to perform at the Buku Music + Art Project in Louisiana in March 2019. But it wasn't until May 2024 that they 'reconnected' and became romantically involved.

'When Lana revisited the area in May to perform at Hangout Fest, they were both single and they reconnected,' an insider told the Daily Mail at the time.

'He saw his golden opportunity and asked her out and they have been together since. She loves older men.'

Friends were initially worried about the relationship, given the 11-year age difference, his prior divorce as well as her $30 million net worth verses his roughly $50,000-a-year salary, but their fears were assuaged once they saw how well he treats her.

'Her friends and team did some digging on him over fears he could be using her, but his business is lucrative and he doesn't need or want Lana's money,' the source said.

Del Rey's new music is said to be heavily inspired by her new marriage to Dufrene as well (the couple is pictured on February 10 in New York)

The native New Yorker is set to release her country-inspired album Stove on May 21

'They can see he treats her right and he's very, very low maintenance. He gives her what she is seeking in a man and is romantic.'

Meanwhile, Del Rey’s former fiancé, Clayton Johnson, has admitted it 'stings' that the singer is now married to someone else.

Johnson, who was engaged to Del Rey in December 2020 but split from her several months later, went on to continue his search for love on The Bachelorette.

'Obviously, she's married now. And I think that when you love somebody, and it comes from a pure place, and she's somebody that I loved and I love, for her to find her person and for her to be as happy as she is, like she is glowing, nothing could make me happier for her,' he said on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast.

'It might sting a little bit, to be honest with you, but if you really love somebody in the purest form, how could you be upset at that?'
