Kyle Sandilands believes that he could soon become Australia's Prime Minister.
The shock jock admitted on a recent episode of his radio show, Kyle Sandilands Live, that he believes One Nation leader Pauline Hanson may ask him to join her party in order to dethrone Anthony Albanese for the top seat in Australian politics.
'I've actually thought about it... (with) One Nation of course,' the 55-year-old told his radio staff.
'Pauline has made it clear that she doesn't have her sights set on necessarily being the Prime Minister,' he added.
When asked if he believed Pauline would ask him to run for PM with One Nation, Sandilands replied: 'I do think that's a possibility.'
Sandilands said that he would keep on his radio staff as 'highly paid advisers' as he believes they'd do a better job than the current government.

The radio star said that he is 'probably not' Australia's top choice for the role, and admitted he would be bored by sitting in the Senate.
'I know our way has worked for us for a long time, but I don't particularly like the ways of our government, to tell the truth,' he said.
In June, Sandilands announced that he has been 'working' with Pauline Hanson - but One Nation quickly poured cold water on the claim.
The radio star told an episode of the Game Changers podcast that he used his downtime while waging a court battle with his former employer, ARN, meeting with the One Nation leader in an effort to advance her profile.
'I've been working on getting their messaging across, which I think has been well received,' Kyle told the show, as reported by news.com.au.
'She is really a surprise. She's one of my favourite people now.'
Kyle said that he has introduced the Queensland senator to powerful 'upper society types' in his circle who are interested in Hanson's 'messaging', adding with a laugh, 'Not my gangster friends'.

However, One Nation chief of staff James Ashby said that Sandilands was 'not working for One Nation' in any official or unofficial capacity at the time, but told The Sydney Morning Herald that the radio king is 'a legend'.
'Not at all,' Ashby told the publication, when asked if Sandilands was involved with the political party in any formal capacity.
'I know Pauline reached out when s**t hit the fan.'
Ashby said Hanson believed Sandilands was a good person who had been mistreated.
'She's got a lot of time for him and wanted to make sure he was fine. I think he's a legend,' he said.
Sandilands told the Game Changers podcast that he is 'loving the orange wave' and considers Hanson 'very inspirational'.
'They're not what everyone thinks they are… a lunatic racist party of country bumpkins that think that the world should change,' Sandilands said.
The shock jock has previously described his politics as 'right of centre' and has disclosed that he has voted for the Liberal Party.
