Kristin Cavallari accused of speeding at 88mph in Tennessee while driving in Porsche 911

Kristin Cavallari was ticketed in connection with allegations she was driving 88 mph in a 70 mph zone in an October 14 incident in Tennessee.

The 39-year-old star had been driving in a black Porsche 911 at the time of the incident, according to a citation reviewed by TMZ.

A police officer said that the Uncommon James founder had passed another motorist while driving in the number one lane, according to the citation.

Cavallari told the officer that she had been headed to work, according to the citation, as she has a Nashville-based retail location for her Uncommon James brand.

Cavallari, who is mother to three kids with ex-husband Jay Cutler, 43 - sons Camden, 14, and Jaxon, 12; and daughter Saylor, 10, has resided in Tennessee since the spring of 2017.

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Cavallari for further comment on the story.

Cavallari has in the past dealt with road-related issues, according to a number of reports.

A September 2013 report from Chicago's ABC7 affiliate indicated that Cavallari had been given a $120 citation for driving in Illinois with a California driver’s license.

She had been cited in connection with an Illinois state mandate that residents who had lived there for the last 90 days had to have a license from the state of Illinois.

The Hills star was subsequently escorted to the Evanston Police Station, where she had posted a bond of $150 in connection with the citation.

She subsequently took to X (then known as Twitter) to clarify the situation in a series of posts.

She wrote, 'Who knew having a California drivers license in Illinois was a CRIME to be escorted to the police station to post bail?!! What a morning.'

Cavallari noted at the time, 'FYI...I still have an apartment in LA so I'm a resident of California.'

Less than three years later, Cavallari had been involved in an auto accident in the Chicago area in which she had been rushed to a hospital for medical attention after another driver collided with her vehicle, Page Six reported at the time.

Cavallari split with Cutler, who formerly played for the Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins, in 2020, with the former pair finalizing their divorce two years later.

In recent years she has been linked to a number of suitors, including NBA coach Will Hardy late last year and country superstar Morgan Wallen in 2023.

In 2021, she had been linked to singer Chase Rice and Southern Charm star Craig Conover, while in 2020 she was connected to comic Jeff Dye.

This past August, she clarified on her podcast Let's Be Honest that she had not had any romantic relations with reality star Austen Kroll after they were pictured on a group trip in Mallorca, Spain.

'There was zero hooking up,' she said. 'We weren't even like flirty or anything. It's like, he's a buddy.'
