Kristen Bell’s BEST Hosting Moments From the Actor Awards 2026
Kristen Bell hopes everyone will let those salary rumors go.
Following reports that the actress was taking home a $60 million salary for her role as Anna in the upcoming Frozen sequels, she addressed the chatter.
“I think there’s been a lot misreported about that Frozen deal,” Kristen, 45, told Entertainment Tonight at the 2026 Actor Awards—previously referred to as the SAG Awards—Mar. 1. “No, no, no, no, no that’s somebody making a lot of things up.”
“But that said, am I happy to have that job and does it pay very well because it’s a successful franchise? Yes,” she added. “And I’m so grateful for it and I will continue to do it for the rest of my life if they’ll have me.”
While the Veronica Mars star wouldn’t mind building a snowman for that price tag, she shared her hilarious reaction to hearing of the exaggerated pay day.
“Didn’t it sound absurd when you read it?” she asked. “When I read it, I was like, ‘Woah, woah, what!’”
As Disney fans await the arrival of the third Frozen film, Kristen—who shares kids Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 11, with husband Dax Shepard—has stayed busy with a slew of equally impressive gigs. After all, she was the 2026 Actor Awards host at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, Calif.

“I have an excellent support system,” she explained. “My family is incredibly supportive. My husband and my kids are very supportive of my hopes and dreams and I’m also supportive of theirs.”
“I also have a great writing team,” she added. “I have a great producing team. There is no way one person can do this by themselves, and the reality is you balance it with a lot of peacefulness and meditation and calm because this is wild.”
But her family may be ready for the exciting milestone to be in the past.
Before leaving the house to head to the Actor Awards, Kristen told her family, “’I’m so excited because tomorrow, for you guys, you finally won’t have to hear me talk about this anymore.’ Because you kind of have to pass the focus.”

While the event’s 2025 monologue featured a remastered number from the Frozen soundtrack, this year the Nobody Wants This star leaned into the event’s name change.
“We thought that this would be the time to dig into name changes, so I’m going to be suggesting a few to the actors here,” she said. “Because, you know, this was previously the SAG Awards. Now, it’s the Actor Awards. They were rebranding and maybe I’ll suggest people do the same.”
