The 45-year-old reality star and the 48-year-old drummer celebrated their second wedding anniversary at the beginning of this summer.

Now, with Labor Day weekend bringing the season to an unofficial close, the pair appear to have escaped to the countryside for a bit of rest and recuperation.

In a charming new Instagram album, Kourtney let her fans in on some of the bucolic pleasures she and Travis indulged in during their holiday.

But the most striking picture was of Kourtney clutching her gun-toting husband as her golden retriever Cubs sat peacefully in front of them.

'POV: you live on a farm, adopt a dog together and shoot clay pigeons for sport,' wrote the Los Angeles native in the caption of her album.

Kourtney, who welcomed a baby boy called Rocky Thirteen with Travis in November 2023, added a few rustic touches to her outfit.

She wound a monochrome bandanna around her head and rocked a complementary pair of black leather boots for her pictures with Travis.

Over the course of her album, she offered a few glimpses of the animals who gave their company during their rural idyll, including a pig and some ducks.

Just a few days earlier, Kourtney had accompanied Travis to the UK for the Reading Festival, where his band Blink-182 took the stage.

In addition to the baby she has with Travis, Kourtney shares her three older children Mason, 14, Penelope, 12, and Reign, nine, with her ex-fiancé Scott Disick.

She recently revealed that she hopes to keep her work schedule minimal and focus on her infant, on an episode of her family's Hulu series The Kardashian.

'I feel lucky that I can have the choice to not have to rush back to work. I want to fully raise my child and be a stay-at-home mom,' she said.

Kourtney previously disclosed on the show that she remained in her house for 40 days after baby Rocky was born on November 1, 2023.

She explained that 'in many different cultures, women don't leave the house after having a baby for 40 days, to let your body have that time to heal and beyond that.'

Speaking during a confessional, she shared: 'I'm really into attachment parenting. I really don't separate from him. I love being at home right now, like my time is dedicated to taking care of my baby and bonding with him.'

In June, Kourtney finally revealed the medical condition that forced her to have emergency fetal surgery while pregnant with Rocky.

'Baby Rocky had to have fetal surgery for fluid in his lung,' she said on an episode of The Kardashians that streamed earlier this year.

'And it's super rare, that this [is] the condition that he had but it's also super rare and lucky that we caught it,' she explained in a confessional. 'And thank you, God, for this successful surgery. I'm honestly just so grateful, I have no words.'

She bared her soul about her anxiety, saying: 'I was definitely filled with fear after the surgery and the fluid in his lungs.'

The reality superstar said: 'Actually it did start coming back and then I watched this documentary called Heal that was all about the power of positive thinking and how our thinking can really affect our health.'

She candidly reflected on the way she coped with the ordeal, saying that 'I started talking to the baby every day, saying my prayers, and after I had that mindset shift, the fluid was completely gone and we had not one single problem after.'
