Kimora Lee Simmons 'refuses to vacate' $25M Beverly Hills mansion bought by her ex with stolen 1MDB funds

Kimora Lee Simmons is reportedly refusing to vacate the $25M Beverly Hills mansion bought by her estranged second husband Tim Leissner in 2017 with the $4.5 billion in funds he helped steal from Malaysian sovereign wealth fund 1MDB.

Three years later, the 56-year-old convicted felon's LLC Keyway Pride sold the seven-bedroom estate to real estate brothers David Reuben and Simon Reuben in a deal that required $67,000 monthly payments - according to New York Post.

However, the 50-year-old reality star 'has been [living] there since November 2020 and no rent has been paid to date' on the lavish 3.7 acre property at 25 Beverly Park Circle.

Not only that, Simmons (born Perkins) filmed her rebooted eight-episode E! reality show - Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane - inside the luxurious house featuring a towering closet containing 698 designer bags.

The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Simmons for comment and has yet to hear back. 

A trial-setting conference for the civil dispute over possession, title and liability of the legally contested home is scheduled for February 25.

The Baby Phat founder challenged the sale and leaseback of the property in Beverly Hills court in 2021, claiming the Reuben brothers illegally bought the house without her permission, but she allegedly signed a Keyway resolution authorizing the sale.

Last Friday, Leissner surrendered himself to Federal Correctional Complex in Allenwood, PA to serve a two-year sentence for conspiracy to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and participating in a money laundering conspiracy.

St. Louis-born Simmons and the German-born investment banker welcomed 10-year-old son Wolfe during their marriage, but no divorce papers were filed and they haven't been pictured together since 2019.

The Tony-winning producer has two daughters - Ming, 26; and Aoki, 23 - from her 11-year marriage to ex-husband Russell Simmons, which ended in 2009.
