Yet Kim, 45, was sure not to be upstaged as she stepped out in a fitted black mini dress featuring a high Mandarin-style collar.
The garment, which resembled a traditional Chinese qipao, clung to her hourglass curves and showed off her tiny waist.
Kim added to the look with strappy heels and she styled her hair in a topknot.

It's been a whirlwind week for Kim, who had also been in Paris to watch Celine Dion.
The TV personality uploaded a carousel on Friday which included her stop in the City of Lights with F1 racer Lewis.
The pair enjoyed a relaxing boat ride together after the sun had set, and at one point kissed underneath the glittering Eiffel Tower.
The post comes shortly after the star seemingly unveiled the nickname that she has given her boyfriend.
The TV personality made the comment on a shopping trip to Target with sister Khloe Kardashian in an Instagram clip shared to her main page on Tuesday.
The siblings were filmed walking down one of the aisles while searching for a specific item.
'I don't think they do,' Kardashian observed as she held a mini microphone in one of her hands. 'Oh, they do!'
While pointing towards a bottle of Almave, the SKIMS founder asked, 'Do you know who makes that?'
'Bridgerton?' Khloe then asked, which prompted Kim to reply with, 'Yes,' followed by a smile.
Almave is a non-alcoholic blue agave spirit which was co-founded by Hamilton and launched back in 2023.
After the siblings shared a lighthearted laugh, the mom-of-four pulled one of the bottles off the shelf.
In another snippet of the video, Kim could be seen mixing Almave with her caffeine-free functional beverage Update.

Kim and Lewis have known each other for years before recently sparking up a romance.
Back in late January, the stars were seen checking into an upscale hotel in the Cotswolds.
Back in June, the star supported the professional racer as he competed during the F1 Monaco Grand Prix.
The couple have also featured each other on their social media pages in recent months amid their romance.
And in July, Lewis made a rare comment about his relationship with The Kardashians star.
While at the Silverstone Circuit racing venue in England, a fan said: 'You've been a happier man recently, why's that? Could that be a girlfriend?'
He replied: 'Yeah, that’s a good one!' before later adding: 'Of course, of course, it's Kim.'
Lewis has also met the star's four children whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West: North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven.
