Kim Kardashian is not giving up on her dream of becoming a lawyer.

The reality TV star, 46, revealed that failing the California bar exam in 2025 has not deterred her from wanting to follow in her late father Robert Kardashian's footsteps.

'I am always thinking about the bar,' she told People at the New York City premiere of All's Fair season 2 on Monday.

'I'm going to take my time and wait until the moment is right, when I have some free time to focus on it,' she said.

Meanwhile, her co-star Sarah Paulson gushed: 'She's going to be a great lawyer. She will.'

The mom-of-four announced her plans to become an attorney in 2019, after she started working in criminal justice reform.

Rather than attending a traditional law school, Kardashian chose California's Law Office Study Program, an apprenticeship path that requires four years of supervised study.

However, her plans suffered a major setback when she graduated the program last year and failed the California bar exam in July.

The TV personality, who also plays a formidable divorce lawyer in the legal drama All's Fair, can only work in a legal field that doesn't require a license to practice until she passes.

Addressing Instagram followers last year, Kardashian confirmed she had failed the bar but remained fully focused on becoming a qualified lawyer.

'Well...I'm not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV,' she began, referencing her portrayal of feisty Allura Grant on All's Fair.

'Six years into this law journey, and I'm still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up - just more studying and even more determination.'

A disappointed Kardashian also praised those who have 'supported and encouraged me along the way so far.'

She added: 'Falling short isn't failure - it's fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let's Go!!!!!!!!!!'

Last year the star confirmed that she had failed the painstaking California bar exam

During a previous appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the reality star explained that she had taken the bar exam in July and that she was awaiting her results.

'I took the bar exam in July. I get the results a few days after our [All's Fair] premiere. So in two weeks. So everyone please pray for me. I worked really hard,' Kardashian said.

If all went according to plan, Kardashian said she would be 'qualified' in just two weeks.

'I will be qualified in two weeks. I hope to practice law. Maybe in 10 years, I think I’ll give up being Kim K and be a trial lawyer. That’s what I really want,' she said.

Kardashian's late father had been a lawyer and notably was the defense attorney for O.J. Simpson amid his 1995 murder trial, where he was acquitted.

The famed attorney died in September 2003 from esophageal cancer at age 59.

After she failed the bar, Kardashian's mentor Jessica Jackson revealed how the star got through her disappointment.

Jackson, a criminal-justice reform attorney who has guided Kardashian’s studies since 2018, exclusively told the Daily Mail: 'Even though she is not going the traditional law school route, she is still following a path that demands serious rigor.'

'She did not have the benefit of a structured curriculum, regular check-ins with professors or classmates, or a clear path forward. She had to create all of that for herself. And she showed up week after week, year after year, without that external accountability.'

Kardashian documented her failed journey on social media, openly crying as she studied for the exam while juggling her busy career.

In an emotional video, the SKIMS mogul admitted to feeling overwhelmed and in pain from back spasms and disk issues.

Kardashian previously passed the 'baby bar' exam in 2021, after failing it three times, and also reportedly passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam in March.
