KIIS FM teases a significant overhaul after the collapse of The Kyle and Jackie O Show

KIIS FM has teased a complete overhaul of their programming, following the collapse of The Kyle and Jackie O Show in March.

The station shared a post on social media on Tuesday, teasing a new era for the network, which has spent several months searching for hosts to replace Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson.

Alongside an image of several people's silhouettes, the network wrote: 'A new era is coming'.  

The network offered no further explanation on what the changes were, leaving fans guessing.

Followers quickly took to the comments section to share their curiosity at the upcoming move. 

'This'll be interesting!' wrote network veteran Mitch Churi, who was made redundant in November 2024.

'Can't wait to hear who it is,' another added. 

It comes after Sandilands was dragged into ARN's escalating legal war with his former radio partner Jackie 'O', after the media giant served him with a subpoena seeking documents.

The 55-year-old shock jock was handed the papers live on air during his subscription show on Wednesday, in a stunning moment orchestrated by manager Bruno Bouchet.

Sandilands appeared taken by surprise as Bouchet presented him with the subpoena and a notice to produce documents.

'I'm very uncomfortable about that,' the radio star said, before tossing the notice into a bin.

'Just tell them I'm overseas or something. Is that what happens? How do you get out of this?'

The awkward exchange took another turn when newsreader Brooklyn Ross asked whether ARN wanted Sandilands in its corner and against Henderson in the dispute.

'Yeah,' Bouchet replied, confirming the network was seeking documents from the radio star as part of its legal battle with his long-time co-host. 

'Well, that makes me very uncomfortable,' Sandilands responded.

'I don't feel comfortable saying anything that may affect what she's got going on.'

The development comes just a week after an emotional Sandilands revealed he was left in tears after learning Henderson had been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.

As Henderson battles her former employer in a lawsuit seeking $82million in damages, her PTSD diagnosis was referenced in a medical report prepared by Dr Jonathan Phillips.

'This morning I woke up ... I was shattered. I instantly burst into tears,' Sandilands told listeners.

'I just fell apart this morning.'

The radio king later expressed his disbelief at allegations contained in court documents, saying they bore little resemblance to his recollection of events and had left him deeply hurt.

'It was really very upsetting to read some terrible things like that about yourself. And obviously, it's her truth. But that is so against what the reality of what happened was,' he added.

'It's very unfair, and it's completely the opposite. It's soul destroying. It really is. It's very upsetting to me.'

Sandilands said the claims were unfair and contradicted his experience of working with Henderson, whom he described as unpredictable and inconsistent throughout their time on The Kyle & Jackie O Show.

Henderson's mental health concerns were detailed in documents filed in the Federal Court and released last week as part of her legal dispute with ARN following the cancellation of the Kyle & Jackie O Show earlier this year.

Dr Phillips states Henderson 'is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder arising as a result of 'the ongoing bullying perpetrated by Sandilands' and 'the failure of ARN to offer appropriate care and protection'.

In a sworn statement, Henderson said she was 'belittled' and 'humiliated' by her 'unpredictable and erratic' former KIIS FM co-host Sandilands.

Henderson's KIIS FM contract was abruptly terminated in March after a high-profile on-air argument between her and Sandilands.
