Kid Rock fired back at Conan O'Brien after the comedian roasted him during his Oscars opening monologue.
O'Brien mocked Kid Rock, 55, for his involvement in the Turning Point USA alternative Super Bowl halftime show at Sunday's star-studded ceremony, but the musician said the joke was 'not a very good one.'
While hosting the Oscars, O'Brien warned the audience that things at the 2026 ceremony could 'get political' before taking aim at MAGA music superstar.
'And if [things getting political] makes you uncomfortable, there's an alternate Oscars being hosted by Kid Rock,' O'Brien said.
He further joked that the Kid Rock hosted Oscars would be held at the adult arcade 'Dave & Busters down the street,' before hilariously adding, 'A lot of tickets for that.'
The musician took to social media on Monday, writing, 'I love a good joke, even when I am the butt of it, unfortunately this was not a very good one.'

He then promoted his upcoming tour, which kicks off on Friday, May 1, in Dallas.
'Either way, if you want to see a REAL good show this spring / summer that celebrates America and 250 years of Freedom - make sure you buy your tickets from (ugh) Ticketmaster for my Freedom 250 tour - The Road To Nashville. There is a reason for this, TRUST ME!'
Kid Rock's All-American Halftime Show was a broadcast produced by Turning Point USA to serve as a direct alternative to the NFL's show.
The event was scheduled to counter the official Super Bowl LX halftime performance by Bad Bunny, which took place at Levi's Stadium during the championship game.
However, after pulling in nearly five million concurrent viewers on the night, fans couldn't help but point out one supposed flaw in the show.
Shortly after the livestream ended, fans rushed to X to claim that Kid Rock had lip-synced his performance - and not in a subtle way.
Taking to X, one fan wrote: 'Kid Rock doesn't know how to lip sync his own songs'.
'That was the worst lip sync I've ever seen #KidRockHalftime wow that was sad,' another fan said on social media.

Turning Point USA's event came as a response to the NFL's decision to let Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny headline the Super Bowl LX halftime show
'Why kid rock lip sync everything??,' one fan wrote, before another similarly added: 'Are we not gonna talk about the Kid Rock lip sync malfunction?'
He denied lip syncing and later claimed cryptically that any disconnect between the visuals and audio was the result of poor 'syncing' by TPUSA's film crew, though in doing so he admitted that the show was pretaped, as he said he was able to view an edit of it before it streamed for fans.
Kid Rock headlined the alternative MAGA halftime show, with Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett also performing.
Elsewhere during the opening monologue, O'Brien had Timothee Chalamet squirming as he called out the Oscar nominee's 'opera and ballet' jab controversy in front of his Hollywood peers.
O'Brien returned as host for the second year in a row after taking over the coveted role from fellow comedian Jimmy Kimmel.
And he wasted little time putting Chalamet, who was up for Best Actor, on the spot in his opening monologue for the star's recent bizarre declaration that 'no one cares' about ballet and opera.
'Security is extremely tight tonight. I'm just going to mention that,' tuxedo-clad O'Brien said to the crowd inside Los Angeles' iconic Dolby Theatre.
He then quipped, 'I'm told there's a concern about attacks from both the opera and ballet communities.'

The camera then quickly cut to Chalamet, who could be seen nervously smiling beside his busty girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
'They're just mad you left out jazz,' O'Brien jokingly added.
Chalamet wasn't the only A-list star to be called out by O'Brien.
He also poked fun of Leonardo DiCaprio's facial expressions and mercilessly mocked Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos to his face as he joked that it was the streaming billionaire's first time in an actual theater.
