Kerry Washington wows in pastel pink corset and skirt as she promotes new season of UnPrisoned in NYC

Kerry Washington cut a typically chic figure as she stepped out in NYC on Friday.

The Scandal star, 47 — who recently showed off her pole dancing skills — showed off her incredible figure in pink while promoting season two of her Hulu comedy, UnPrisoned.

She modeled a figure hugging pastel pink corset top with a rose petal pattern and matching pencil skirt.

Her raven locks were tied back in a slicked back middle parted bun.

The Bronx native teamed her look with designer sunglasses and blush pink stiletto heels.

Kerry appeared to be in good spirits as she posed carrying a pink designer purse while donning dainty gold jewelry.

She eagerly pointed to a digital billboard picturing herself and co-star Faly Rakotohavana, 21, advertising the latest season on the 2023 hit series.

Earlier on Friday, the BET Award winner sat down on Good Morning America to discuss what UnPrisoned is about and what narrative the second season will follow.

She shared: 'I love UnPrisoned, it's such a special show.  It's really like a father-daughter comedy. It's about a dad who was imprisoned for most of my character's life and he comes to live with me and my teenage son. 

'Delroy Lindo plays my dad. He is one of my acting heroes, we're having a blast. The show is like, people who watch the show devour it. They can't stop. You binge through it so quickly,' she said.

The actress explained that the upcoming season will touch more on 'serious' issues.

'What I love about really important issues. Like really stuff that matters... about criminal justice, about family, about love but it's funny,' she added. 'We're telling the story with a lot of levity and joy.'

Kerry teased the eight-episode season saying fans should expect to see boxing and pole dancing scenes. 

She shared: 'Last season we had a dance battle on the show that was such a hit we new we had to go outside the box again for this season. We have a great, hilarious wresting match that we trained very hard for. 

'My character also goes to a pole dancing class so we have really great episodes coming your way,' she said.

Season two of UnPrisoned is now available for streaming on Hulu.

Kerry is set to star in Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, which began filming last month.

She is an accomplished actress, who has earned various Primetime Emmy Awards and nominations, five NAACP Image Awards and a Teen Choice Award.

As for her personal life, she shares three kids a teenage stepdaughter as well as daughter Isabelle, nine, and son Caleb, six, with her husband of 10 years, former NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha.
