Kelly Osbourne is in a 'happier place' following split from Sid Wilson as her brother Jack reveals she is focusing on her son and their 'country life'

Kelly Osbourne is in a 'happier place' following split from Sid Wilson, her brother Jack has revealed. 

The television personality, 41, who split from Sid, 49, in March and shares son Sidney, three, with the keyboardist. 

Sid has since been kicked out of his band Slipknot, with the reason for his sudden departure unknown. 

In a new interview, Jack, 40, revealed how Kelly has been focusing on her son and living her life in the countryside.

He told The Sun: 'Kelly’s living her country life. You know, she’s living out by the house and she’s just doing her thing, being a mum. She’s in a happier place and she’s got a good routine going. She’s focusing on her and her son.'

Earlier this month, Kelly appeared to hit out at her ex-fiancé Sid after he was kicked out of his band Slipknot.

Kelly shared an impassioned Instagram post, where she wrote: 'I can't protect you from yourself anymore.' 

She said: 'Wake the f**k up and take some responsibility. I will not take your s**t anymore. I'm done.

'I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise. Leave me alone. Let me heal.'

Kelly went on to say: 'Strange how the loudest defence of the guilty is rarely innocence... It's distraction. When the mask slips, they don't face the mirror they throw it at someone else. I heard that when you break a mirror you get seven years bad luck. Or is that karma? 

In another Story, Kelly wrote 'Also while I'm at it can I have my dogs back and all my possessions Oh yeah and maybe some child support?'

'This is why I always take accountability. As they say some are sicker than others.' 

The Daily Mail contacted Sid's representatives for comment at the time. 

Elsewhere in the interview, Jack spoke about the loss of their beloved father, Ozzy. 

Rock legend Ozzy died on July 22, aged 76, weeks after he performed his final concert, Back to the Beginning show at Villa Park. 

The singer, who sold more than 100 million records, will forever be synonymous with the heavy metal band he formed in his home city of Birmingham in 1968.

Jack said: 'In those first minutes it was like a freight train coming through the door. That’s when it hit me. But there’s a lot of gratitude that I was able to spend the week before he died with him.

'After the final show, I was supposed to get on a plane to go to Portugal for a week with my kids but everyone in my family got the stomach flu, so we ended up cancelling the trip.

'Instead, we ended up just spending a week at the house with my dad and my mum, and thank God. Without that, we wouldn’t have had that time, we wouldn’t have been there.'

The television personality said the family talk about Ozzy every day and he has paid tribute to his father by naming his fifth daughter after the rocker.
