Kelly Brook has claimed she was left feeling 'upset' after her 'controlling' ex Billy Zane forced her to throw away her tracksuits and wear corseted 1950s dresses.
The former glamour model, 46, and and Titanic star, 59, met on the set of Survival Island, also known as Three, in 2005.
They got engaged and lived together in a £1million farmhouse in Kent before their split in 2008 after Kelly reportedly decided 'Billy is not the man she wants to marry.'
Discussing her style on the Amanda Wakeley: StyleDNA podcast on Wednesday, Kelly said as a teenager and in her early twenties she opted for street wear and would buy expensive tracksuits, notably by Juicy Couture.
But when she was 25 she began dating Billy, who was 13 years her senior, and he began to influence what she wore and told her to put something 'nicer' on.
'I remember him kind of throwing out all my Juicy tracksuits, going "You can't be wearing this any more, you need to put something nicer on",' she said. 'I was kind of upset and all my friends were like "Oh my God, he's really controlling".'

Opening up about her style at that time, Kelly said Billy would encourage her to emulate the corseted style of women from the 1950s - displaying her small waist and large boobs.
Kelly said: 'And then I think when I went into a Love Island era - that's when I started getting into the more period corseted fifties.
'And I remember Julien Macdonald saying "This suits you", when I started turning up to premieres in Vintage dresses.
'But that's when I met Billy Zane, who was an actor, and he was a bit older than me and he would introduce me into a lot of movies that I hadn't seen.
'And he would kind of say to me "You really look like these actresses back from this time". So he really helped me. I was kind of his muse for like a few years, and he would really help with my style.'
Kelly's looks at this time harked back to an era when they were worn by curvy sex symbol icons Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield and Elizabeth Taylor.
It was a far cry from how teenage Kelly dressed, with the model describing her style back then as: 'Chav - like gold hoops, scrunchies, track suits. As a teenager, very kind of street girl, council kind of estate style.
'And it then kind of moved into an element of that kind of street wear, but a bit more elevated because it was more expensive.

'Obviously an Ugg boot and a Juicy tracksuit was a bit more expensive.'
Then Kelly moved from The Big Breakfast TV show and began presenting on Celebrity Love Island in 2005 - and it as around this time she met Billy.
However, Kelly said with hindsight she came to agree with what Zane had done for her look.
She said: 'But actually I appreciated it because it was time I moved on.'
Kelly and Billy met in 2004 and subsequently got engaged before splitting in 2008 after a turbulent relationship.
The former actress, whose other past boyfriends include Jason Statham and Danny Cipriani, is now married to Jeremy Parisi.
Kelly recently showed off her I'm A Celeb weight loss as she posed in an array of sexy underwear sets for a new campaign with Next on Monday.
The presenter and model, who lost 15lbs while in the I'm A Celebrity jungle last year, looked stunning in the sets as she put on a confident display.

For one look she wowed in a black lace combination which highlighted her ample assets and gorgeous curves.
Other looks included sheer white and pink numbers while she posed up a storm in a black flower patterned set too.
Speaking about the new range she said: 'This collaboration feels honest and accessible - it's lingerie designed for real bodies and real lifestyles.
'The edit is shaped by years of understanding my own body and knowing what makes me feel confident, comfortable and feminine. I hope the edit makes women feel instantly comfortable and confident. I want women to look in the mirror and think, this feels like me.
'No squeezing into something that doesn't feel right, just feeling supported, feminine and confident in their own skin. Over time, I've learnt to love my body rather than criticise it.'
