Michael and Keira's joint appearance comes just days after their reunited on The Graham Norton Show and regaled audience members about having to spank each other for a film they did together over a decade ago.
The duo left the audience in stitches on Friday night as they as they recounted filming their 2011 movie A Dangerous Method.
The film, a psychological drama, explores the complicated relationships between psychoanalysts Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud and a patient-turned-colleague, Sabina Spielrein, played by Kiera.
The actress, 39, didn't hold back when asked about the film as she told Graham: 'Basically it was about spanking. Michael had to spank me.'
Michael then joked: 'I was the spanker. You were the spankee.'
Revealing the effort that went into making the scenes realistic but not too painful, Michael said: 'To get the right level of spank, it can't hurt too much, I suppose.'
He then revealed a little-known secret as he turned to Kiera: 'There was a Yellow Pages between your bum and the paddle!'
As if that wasn't funny enough, Keira admitted to going the extra mile to ensure the cast remembered the experience forever.

'I bought Michael and three other cast members their very own spanking paddles' she said, laughing.
'I had to go into a sex shop and say, "Hello, can I have three spanking paddles, please?"'
Keira appeared smitten with husband James in Como on Sunday, which came months after she joked that her marriage to husband James Righton will only survive if he follows one very strict rule over Christmas.
The pair were married in 2013 in the South of France, where she wore Chanel couture as they exchanged vows in front of eleven guests.
The couple tend to keep their private life under wraps, but in a new interview, the actress gave a rare comment about her musician partner as she opened up about their traditions over Christmas.
Speaking to Nick Grimshaw on his BBC Radio 6 show on Thursday, Keira sarcastically quipped that the pair would be headed for 'divorce' if James' OCD spilled out of the kitchen on Christmas Day.
The thespian, who is currently starring in new Netflix thriller series Black Doves, revealed that while she doesn't partake in the cooking on the day, her husband takes charge instead, but can be very particular when it comes to the kitchen.

Detailing the drama, Keira told Nick: 'He's the cook! he's a good cook. He loves food, he's a good cook and he's also a little bit OCD so as long as the OCD stays in the kitchen, then the marriage survives!
'He's allowed to be as OCD as he likes in the kitchen but it's not allowed to come out of the kitchen! But that does mean Christmas dinner will be very very good.'
As Nick told how it's good to have a barrier, Keira agreed, responding: 'We have found like as far as trying to keep a relationship, you know OK for a while, if one person does have a bit of OCD, you have to give them paces where it's allowed. And then places where it's not allowed! So I feel like the kitchen is a good place for OCD.
'If it comes into the living room, not happy', she then laughed as she added: 'Divorce! Unfortunately.'
The couple share two daughters, Edie, nine, and five-year-old Delilah.
