A cinematic obsessive with the filmic palate of a starving raccoon, Rob London will watch pretty much anything once. With a mind like a steel trap, he's an endless fount of movie and TV trivia, borne from a misspent youth of watching monster movies on TV, perusing the sun-faded goods at the local video rental shop, and staining his fingers with ink from the Video Movie Guide. Areas of interest include science fiction, film noir, horror flicks, '70s disaster pictures, Bond movies, '90s action, giant robots, dinosaurs, super heroes, and the exuberantly schlocky output of Cannon Films. He also enjoys both Star Trek and Star Wars when they're good, and maybe even more when they're bad. As a Canadian, he also has a vested interest in Canadian movies and TV shows, especially the cheesier ones dubbed "Canuxploitation."

An expert on Marvel Comics, he has also written for the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, and is a member of the Marvel Research Team. He can frequently be found pontificating on comic-book continuity or bemoaning the misfortunes of the Toronto Maple Leafs on his Twitter account.

"Who hates me?" That's the key question Keanu Reeves asks in the first trailer for the new Apple film Outcome, and he's not going to like the answer he gets. Reeves played a fading movie star in the satirical black comedy; it was directed by, co-written, and co-stars Jonah Hill. It will premiere on AppleTV on April 10, 2026.

In the trailer, Reeves stars as Reef Hawk, the world's biggest movie star. After leading three of the biggest franchises in Hollywood history, he took a five-year sabbatical...during which, unbeknownst to the public, he was battling an addiction to heroin. Now, he's preparing to make a comeback, only for a reputation-destroying video to suddenly surface. But who could hate him enough to release it? It seems that the answer is "pretty much everybody," except for Xander and Kyle (Matt Bomer and Cameron Diaz), the only two friends he hasn't managed to alienate...yet.

And so, with the aid of crisis lawyer Ira Slitz (Hill, unrecognizable with a bald pate and a gray beard) and his crack team of damage control professionals, Reef sets out to right all his old wrongs, and to find out who sold him up the river. But as he travels LA to apologize to friends, colleagues, and even his own mother, who are his apologies even for? And if this many people hate his guts, does it even matter who loathes him enough to release the tape? You'll find out this April, exclusively on AppleTV.

Who Are the Creatives Behind 'Outcome'?

In addition to Reeves, Hill, Bomer, and Diaz, Outcome boasts a star-studded cast. It includes Susan Lucci (All My Children), Laverne Cox (Orange Is the New Black), David Spade (Saturday Night Live), Atsuko Okatsuka (Elio), Roy Wood, Jr. (The Daily Show), Welker White (Goodfellas), Kaia Gerber (Bottoms), Ivy Wolk (If I Had Legs I'd Kick You), and, in a rare acting role in a film he didn't direct himself, Martin Scorsese as a washed-up talent agent. Hill co-wrote the film with Ezra Woods; it will be produced by Hill, Matt Dines, and Alison Goodwin, and executive produced by Adam Merims.

Outcome is Hill's second narrative feature as a director; he previously helmed the coming-of-age skateboarding dramedy mid90s in 2018. It is the first of two Hill-directed films that will be released this year; he's set to star alongside Kristen Wiig as a pair of wealthy siblings who suddenly find themselves disinherited in Cut Off, which will be released in theaters by Warner Bros. in July.

Outcome will premiere on AppleTV on April 10, 2026. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates.
