Orlando Bloom Shares Sweet Bonding Moment With His, Katy Perry's Daughter Daisy Dove
You’ll love Katy Perry’s latest photo unconditionally.
The “California Gurls” singer celebrated Mother’s Day by sharing the sweetest throwback photo of her and ex Orlando Bloom’s daughter Daisy Dove from shortly after she was born in 2020.
In the May 11 Instagram photo, Katy, still sporting her platinum blonde hair of the era, lay on a bed alongside her infant daughter, who wears a pink striped onesie. The 41-year-old looks down lovingly at her baby, as she places one hand on her pooch, Nugget.
Of course, the caption made the sweet throwback—which also included a carousel of photos including Katy’s mom Mary Perry—all the more adorable.
“To all the Mother’s that visited deaths door and came back carrying life,” Katy wrote alongside the post. “I see, love and honor you. Happy Mother’s Day.”
While the photo itself is a rare glimpse into Katy’s life as a mom, she has previously emphasized how much becoming one changed her life—and even her career.
“What she has given me in my life [is] the unconditional love that I was always searching for," Katy explained to E! News in 2024. “That is where I am creating from. Just like wholeness, happiness and just true full love.”
And more recently, Katy created her song “Bandaids” from that place. In the breakup song—which she released shortly after her split from the Pirates of Caribbean star was confirmed in June 2025—she makes a subtle nod to her now-5-year-old.
“If I had to do it all over again / I would still do it all over again,” Katy sings in the song. "The love that we made was worth it in the end.”

And in the accompanying video for the song, Katy—who sparked a romance with Justin Trudeau in July 2025—makes the nod even more obvious.
As the song’s visual sees the “Roar” singer face a series of unfortunate events, she spots a daisy growing out of the ground that reinvigorates her, and gives her strength to jump out of the way before an oncoming train hits her.
Indeed, Katy has emphasized that being a mom makes everything else seem much less important.
"So a lot of stuff falls away when you become a mom and it is the best job in the world," she said on an Instagram Live in 2021. "I highly recommend it when you're ready."
