They are perhaps the most unlikely and intriguing Hollywood couple of recent years, but pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau seem to be going from strength to strength.
So much so, in fact, that the couple are already at the center of a wild internet rumor that Perry, 41, is expecting her first child with the politician, 54, even though they've been dating less than a year.
The speculation - which the Daily Mail understands is entirely unfounded - stirred on Saturday, when the singer swapped her usual on-stage wardrobe of sequined bodysuits for a demure white cover-up during a day out with Trudeau at the exclusive Coral Casino and Cabana Club in Montecito, California.
As well as the long-sleeve dress, Perry toted a white robe, which she draped over her stomach.
Perhaps unsurprisingly then, the photos fueled conspiracies online that Perry was using the robe to hide signs of a growing bump.
But while that is indeed ridiculous - Perry is not pregnant - an inside source tells us that the new couple aren't ruling it out as a possibility in the near future...

Former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, 54, joined new girlfriend Perry for the outing
'Justin and Katy's relationship is going great. Nobody actually believed it was ever going to be a thing, and now that it is, everyone wants them to get married and have children,' the insider told the Daily Mail.
'There have been rumors recently that Katy is pregnant, but she is not,' the source added.
'She's not against it, but they are just in a euphoric honeymoon phase and enjoying life together with the children they already have from their previous relationships.'
Whispers of Perry's nascent relationship with Trudeau first came in July last year.
Many fans were admittedly startled, and not least because both Perry and Trudeau had both recently ended their long-term, high-profile relationships - to say nothing of how unlikely it seemed for their worlds of chart-topping pop and Canadian politics to ever intersect.
But it was less than a month after Perry confirmed her split from actor Orlando Bloom - who she had been engaged to and had dated for 9 years - that she was photographed on a cozy dinner date with Trudeau at the trendy Le Violon restaurant in Montreal.
Perry and Bloom, 49, share 5-year-old daughter Daisy Dove.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, an exclusive source shut down pregnancy speculation and said the couple are in a 'euphoric honeymoon phase'
The source said Perry is 'not against' expanding her family, but she and Trudeau are 'just enjoying being a couple'
Days after the dinner date, Trudeau attended Perry's 'Lifetimes' tour stop in Montreal, with his own daughter Ella-Grace, 16, by his side.
Video captured Trudeau looking utterly enamored as he watched Perry up on stage, even mouthing along the lyrics to her hit song, Dark Horse.
For his part, Trudeau also shares sons Xavier, 18, and Hadrien, 11, with his ex-wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau. The political couple separated in August 2023 after 18 years of marriage.
In October last year, the Daily Mail finally confirmed Perry and Trudeau's romance with exclusive photos of the new couple kissing and cuddling on board Perry's 78-foot yacht, the Caravelle, off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.
Then in December, the couple officially 'launched' themselves online, posing for photos with the former prime minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, and his wife, Yuko, during a trip to the Asian country.
Perry, meanwhile, posted an Instagram slideshow of snapshots from their visit that same month, where she was performing.
While her scheduled tour dates then officially came to an end, Perry is set to make a handful of festival appearances across Europe later this year.
As such, our inside source explained that the singer would at least like to get through the remaining performances before contemplating a baby.
'It is not the main reason she isn't pregnant, but Katy would also actually like to get through her upcoming tour with limited stress and not have the concern that comes with bringing a new life into the world,' the insider said.

Although their romance appears to be headed in the right direction, the insider cautioned that Perry and Trudeau have not yet properly discussed serious matters, such as having children or getting engaged, and they are simply enjoying their time together.
'They haven't even addressed getting engaged or married. They are just enjoying being a couple,' the source said.
'They are happy with each other and are happy with their future together.'
It would appear that Bloom has also now moved on from Perry.
Earlier this month, the Pirates of the Caribbean star brought model Luisa Laemmel, 28, as his date to the Super Bowl at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Bloom exited the stadium arm-in-arm with Laemmel, who at 28 is 21-years his junior, while one onlooker said they were 'touchy-feely' during the game.

Perry and actor Orlando Bloom (pictured in March 2025) confirmed their split in June after nine years of on-and-off dating. They share a five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom
As Bloom and Perry continue to co-parent their daughter Daisy, our insider suggested the actor 'would be sad at first' if Perry were to become pregnant again so soon after their breakup, but he would still 'be happy for her.'
'If Katy were to get pregnant with Justin, Orlando would be sad at first but would overall accept it and be happy for her. She and Orlando still have Daisy together,' the source said.
'It is in Orlando's best interest to wish the best for his ex because it teaches his children a great lesson.'
For now though, it appears the only thing Perry and Trudeau are expanding is their real estate portfolio, as Trudeau recently snapped up a $3.1 million mansion in Montreal's upscale Outremont neighborhood.
He purchased the nearly 100-year-old, 4,965 square-foot stone mansion in January for $4.26 million CAD.
He proudly showed off the neighborhood to Perry earlier this month, as the couple were spotted having lunch at Leméac – a posh French bistro less than a mile from his sprawling new property.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Perry and Trudeau for comment.
