KATSEYE canceled their show at Detroit's Little Caesars Arena Tuesday just a half-hour before the show was slated to start, as they said member Megan Skiendiel had fallen ill.
The girl group took to Instagram Stories to explain the circumstances behind the scuttled show.
'Unfortunately, Megan is unwell and unable to perform tonight, and we want to make sure she has time she needs to rest and recover,' the musical ensemble said in a statement.
'We know so many of you have travelled, made plans and been looking forward to tonight.
'We are incredibly disappointed that we won't get to see you, and we're truly sorry for the inconvenience.'
They added, 'Thank you for your patience, understanding, and for always showing us so much love. We love you and can't wait to see you soon.'
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for KATSEYE for further comment on the story.

The venue also announced the cancellation in a series of posts, saying, 'We're sorry to share that the KATSEYE show scheduled for tonight at Little Caesars Arena has been postponed.
'Please hold on to your tickets, as they'll be valid for the new date once announced. Ticket holders will receive an email with more information shortly.'
They added, 'We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience, especially to those who traveled to be with us tonight.'
Insiders told Billboard that the musical ensemble had been able to conduct a VIP soundcheck without Skiendiel present, as she rested prior to the concert.
Attendees had already been let in when a message announcing the show would not go on as planned was put on the large screens at the arena, sources told the outlet.
The group is next slated to take the stage at Chicago's United Center on Thursday if Skiendiel is able to perform.
Reactions to the last-minute cancellation varied with fans on X, as some thought that the late notice was unacceptable, while others said the singers were being pushed too hard.
'I spent over a thousand dollars, took off work, and made so many sacrifices to be here,' one user remarked. 'I had a feeling this was going to happen.

The Detroit venue urged fans to keep their tickets for a makeup date
'They had no problem leaving those merch booths open though. I’ve been with them since [dream] academy but when you mess with my money I’m dropping you.'
Another added, 'Literally canceled it a half hour before the show starts after everyone got to their seats. How considerate.'
One user remarked, '30 minutes before the show? You've got to be kidding me.
'You've got thousands of fans, many that traveled hours for this show, paid outrageous ticket prices, hotel and parking accommodation prices, missed a day or days of school and you pull this s***.'
A concertgoer recalled, 'We walked in 5 minutes after the announcement went up on screen and the lights were up.
'I feel so bad for all the little girls sobbing but genuinely when are they going to fit in the reschedule?? I’m concerned. They need to make these announcements sooner!!!'
Others said that it was apparent that the members of the group needed some downtime, noting that two of the members - Sophia Laforteza and Manon Bannerman - have been sidelined this year on hiatuses from the grinding schedule.
'They NEED a break,' one user said, adding that 'these girls health and wellbeing are way more important than potentially carrying on when their conditions are not well enough to tour.

'Glad they postponed the show and prioritized the members but i do feel so bad for everyone that was excited to see them tonight.'
Another added, 'They need to let these girls take 2027 off and REST... it’s clear these girls are exhausted, and the company needs to recognize that.
'Let 2027 be their year to rest, recover, and regroup so they can return in 2028 with ALL members healthy, refreshed, and ready for a new era. Their health should come before a schedule.'
The musical ensemble has been on a successful trek titled the WILDWORLD TOUR, including sold out dates in Europe and North America.
KATSEYE is slated to conclude their 2026 slate on November 28 at Mexico City's Palacio de los Deportes. They will then have two months off prior to a tour spanning Asia, Australia and New Zealand with a start date of January 27 at Japan's Yokohama Arena.
