Katie Price reflects on her wild love life including her secret kiss with Simon Cowell and swapping numbers with Jamie Foxx as she admits 'men have always been the downfall of her'

Katie Price has confessed that 'men have always been the downfall' as she reflected on her wild love life in a candid new interview.

For years the glamour model, 46, has made headlines with her wild love life, including a string of ex-boyfriends and three high-profile marriages.

Speaking to The Sun, Katie reflected on some of her more unlikely conquests, including a passionate night she spent with Simon Cowell during her glamour model heyday, and swapping numbers with Hollywood star Jamie Foxx.

She said: 'Men have been the downfall of me - my career has always been good and men have let me down.

'I've picked the wrong men. They've been toxic or given me mental abuse, physical abuse, narcissistic behaviour, gaslighting, jealousy. I got used to that. I couldn't spot a red flag.

'Now I've had therapy, I can spot signs and realise what unhealthy relationships are. I feel good, I feel settled, I feel excited when I come home at night.'

Katie's exes include footballer Dwight Yorke, with whom she shares son Harvey, 22.

She married singer Peter Andre in 2005, and they share son Junior, 19, and daughter Princess, 17, but divorced four years later.

Following her split from Peter, Katie married cagefighter Alex Reid in a whirlwind Las Vegas ceremony in 2010, but their union lasted less than a year.

In 2013, Katie married her third husband, dancer Kieran Hayler, and they have two children together, son Jett, 11, and daughter Bunny, 10, but despite renewing their wedding vows three times, they split in 2018, and divorced three years later.

During the interview, Katie was grilled about the night she spent with Simon Cowell, where she said they shared a kiss after meeting at the Comedy Awards. 

Asked whether The X Factor mogul was a good kisser, Katie, who is currently dating MAFS UK's JJ Slater, coyly said: 'That's for me to know.'

Katie first revealed her night with Simon in an interview with The Sun On Sunday in 2017, telling the publication she was invited back to Cowell's sprawling Holland Park mansion after crossing paths with him at the Comedy Awards in 2003.

Recalling the moment she entered his palatial home, Katie admits to being unsure if he was still in a relationship with TV presenter Terri Seymour – with whom he separated in 2008 – after seeing her belongings scattered about the property. 

But they were soon forgotten as they made their way to his bedroom.

'We kissed. I got undressed and we got into bed together,' she revealed. 'His bedclothes were all white. He had a really hairy chest and I got this real sense of being with a man for the first time. He was the oldest person I had been in bed with.'

Katie went onto admit that while she enjoyed herself with The X Factor judge, they did not have full sex because of her reluctance to engage in meaningless one-night stands.

'It was something my mum drummed into me from an early age,' she said. 'If a man wants you he'll wait for you.'

Katie was already friends with record label boss Cowell having first met him as a shy, 17-year old aspiring singer through her then-manager, Harvey Smith.

That meeting would lead to a 'confusing' twenty-year friendship, during which they would infrequently drift in and out of one-another's lives - culminating in their night at his mansion.

'Perhaps he was concerned to I would reveal how intimate we had been?' she said. 'It felt as if he wanted to keep me separate from his public profile. I sensed he liked me but never involved me.'

Back in May, Katie then revealed that she crossed paths with Jamie while attending Sir Eton John's Oscars bash in 2011.

She flew to Los Angeles shortly after her split from her second husband Alex Reid, 48, to attend Sir Elton John's annual Oscars bash in honour of his AIDS foundation. 

However, the former glamour model appeared to have caught the attention of Django Unchained star Jamie, 56, and claimed they even swapped numbers during a live recording of her podcast The Katie Price Show. 

Katie reminisced on the moment when asked by her sister Sophie and said: 'Yes. I don't have to say, but I don't mind. I didn't f**k him or anything like that. No, he was coming on (to me), we exchanged numbers and that.'

She continued: 'He was actually really small. It's weird. When you go to places like the Oscars and that, and you watch TV and see these people who are in films.... how small a lot of people are.

'Seriously, it's really weird when you see them in real life.' 

A source reportedly told The Sun at the time,: 'She saw Jamie at the bar, walked off from the table where she was meant to be watching the Oscars for Elton's charity and approached him.' 

'After 15 minutes of full-on flirtation, both had their hands over each other and she leant in for a kiss,'

The source added. 'Jordan was desperate to go home with Jamie, but he had events to go to.'
