Suri Cruise helped send off her mother Katie Holmes over the weekend when the actress wrapped up her run starring in the classic play Our Town on Broadway.

The 18-year-old nepo baby dropped by the Ethel Barrymore Theatre in New York City on Sunday to join her mother's farewell celebrations.

Suri — whom Katie shares with her ex-husband Tom Cruise — was seen heading past security at the backstage area while wearing a low-key wintry ensemble on the chilly day.

The celebrity daughter has been a regular fixture at her mother's performances this season, including when she joined the cast and crew of Our Town to celebrate Katie's 46th birthday in December.

Suri stayed warm in a puffy gray–green down jacket with a raised collar that she paired with a set of light-blue jeans for her day on the town.

She wore her brunette locks tied back in a messy bun with some strands dangling over her face casually.

Suri, who could have been her mother's doppelgänger, opted for a more casual look that Katie, who was seen arriving at the theater earlier in the afternoon.

The Batman Begins actress rocked a classic black double-breasted overcoat, along with black slacks and black-and-white patterned Louboutin heels.

Despite the snowy weather, she wore a large pair of black sunglasses, and she accessorized with a large black handbag.

Katie had been appearing as Mrs. Webb in the latest production of Thorton Wilder's iconic drama, while Zoey Deutch appeared as her daughter Emily and The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons played the stage manager.

Last month, Katie revealed that Suri had gotten her a bouquet of gorgeous flowers to celebrate her birthday, while her costars and crew joined her in a backstage birthday dinner of falafel and shawarma.

Katie and Suri have stuck together through the years, even as the men in Katie's life have come and gone.

One of her biggest family trials was her split from international superstar Tom Cruise.

Katie began dating the Mission: Imposible star in April of 2005, and it was only seven weeks after they met that Tom popped the question to her.

Katie bid farewell by signing her name in her dressing room, along with listing the play's name and the season

She gave birth to Suri on April 18, 2006, which happened to be the one-year anniversary of her first date with Tom. The couple were married later that year in Italy.

During their time together, Katie began studying Tom's religion Scientology, which reportedly became an issue of contention between the two over time.

In 2012, after less than six years of marriage, Katie filed for divorce from Tom.

Sources close to her later claimed she feared that he might try to abduct their daughter, and her decision to step away from the Church of Scientology was reportedly an issue in their split.

A source recently told DailyMail.com that Scientology members at one point moved in with Tom and Katie to cater to his needs, which 'hurt the marriage.'

When Tom was forced to sit down for a 2013 deposition in a lawsuit, he revealed that his daughter Suri was also no longer a practicing member of Scientology.

A source revealed last year that the Top Gun: Maverick star has 'no part' in his daughter's life, which may be related to Scientology, as adherent are instructed not to interact with people who have disavowed the Church of Scientology, who are referred to as suppressive people.

The star has lately been spending most of his time in the United Kingdom.

Suri's public support for her mother followed Katie's ex-boyfriend Jamie Foxx's claim that he was done dating 'white women.'

'No more white girls,' he sang last year in his Netflix comedy special, What Had Happened Was..., which was released after his recovery from what he revealed was a brain bleed and stroke that left him temporarily unable to walk.

Some fans were offended by the song, and the possibility that he was referring to Katie as the catalyst for his new dating roles, though it may have been a pure joke with not autobiographical meaning, as he has been seen spending time with other white women since splitting from Katie in 2019.

Suri may be on her college winter break after she began attending Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Her mother Katie shared her feelings about Suri's big transition shortly before she moved out of the family home.

'I'm proud of my daughter,' she told Town & Country. 'Of course, I will miss the close proximity, but I'm really proud of her and I'm happy.

'I remember being this age, this time of beginnings,' she added. 'It's exciting to learn about yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think about it like that.'
