Katie Holmes Makes First Official Public Appearance with Boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky
Katie Holmes is spending plenty of happy hours with Jason Bard Yarmosky.
Just one month after the Dawson’s Creek alum first stepped out with the artist, the couple went Instagram official Aug. 13 when Yarmosky shared a super sweet photo of Holmes to his profile.
In the picture, Holmes appears happier than ever, smiling in what appears to be a horse stable while sporting a white silk skirt set. The 47-year-old topped off her look with a set of silver, pointed toe heels and a natural style for her hair.
Yamosky proved the couple was enjoying a mini getaway together, also sharing photos of exploring work by fellow artist John Chamberlain as well as a sunset boat ride, both of which Holmes reposted to her own Instagram account.
Holmes and Yarmosky’s romance appears to be getting as hot as the dog days of summer, with the couple first stepping out last month for a screening of The Invite in The Hamptons July 10.
At the time, Holmes—mom to daughter Suri, 20, with ex Tom Cruise—and Yarmosky kept their romance low-key, holding hands but avoiding any PDA as they headed into the screening.
Later that same month, the Batman Begins alum and the artist stepped out at a Ferragamo event at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton, New York, proving to take their date night to the next level by posing for photos together.
And while Holmes has previously had high profile romances with Cruise and Jamie Foxx—plus Dawson’s Creek costar Joshua Jackson—her romance with Yarmosky marks her first public relationship since 2022, when she was briefly linked to Bobby Wooten III.

Indeed, while Holmes is loud and proud about her creative pursuits, she’s previously shared it’s an ongoing process when it comes to being open about her personal life.
“Obviously, as a public person, I've gotten a lot of attention at different periods in my life,” Holmes explained to InStyle in 2022. “And when you have a lot of attention, sometimes you don't want to leave the house because it's just too much. You can get consumed by what people think, but suddenly you just decide to do things on your own terms.”
As she put it, “I feel like I'm finally figuring that out.”
