'Vampire Diaries’ Star Kat Graham Gives Birth to First Baby With Husband Bryant Wood
UPDATE: Kat Graham and her husband Bryant Wood have welcomed their first baby together, naming their son after a character from William Shakespeare's play The Tempest.
Sharing photos of their newborn son, the couple wrote on Instagram March 12, "Welcome to the world Prospero 'Spero' Nyemah Wood."

Kat Graham is stepping into a new role: mommy.
The Vampire Diaries alum recently shared that she is pregnant and expecting her first baby with husband Bryant Wood. Kat made the special reveal alongside a Dec. 1 Instagram carousel filled with pictures of her putting her baby bump on display as she lifted her sweater and posed while Bryant smiled and kissed her belly.
Kat captioned the sweet polaroids, “We’re having a baby!!!”
Bryant took to the comments to also share his excitement, writing, “We are ready!”
Indeed, while the 36-year-old didn’t share any additional details about her pregnancy, she gushed about the news further, sharing the post on her Instagram Story alongside Rick James’ “Give It to Me Baby,” while writing, “Baby on Board.”
Kat’s news was celebrated by a few of her pals including her Vampire Diaries costar Ian Somerhalder’s wife Nikki Reed, who wrote, “This is so sweet you guys. Ahhhhhh!!!! Congratulations!! Now I’m thinking about all of our special conversations from this summer and my heart is [heart eyes emojis].”
Kat’s fellow Vampire Diaries costar Candice King added, “Ahhhh congratulations!!!!!!” Nathalie Kelly also chimed in, writing, “What a lucky soul to have you as her mommy.”
Kat and Bryant’s big news comes three months after they tied the knot for the second time during an intimate wedding ceremony in California in August, which followed two years after they eloped and had a civil ceremony in 2023.

Following their ceremony, Kat and Bryant teased their plans to expand their family, with the How It Ends actress noting that her wedding day helped her gain a new perspective after the loss of her mother.
"It was the first time I could process family," Kat tearfully told The Knot in October. "I never allowed myself that because the little I had, I lost. And then looking around, it just hit me. It was the best day."
For Bryant, he teased how he and his wife were ready for their next chapter.
"We are in a wonderful place now with our careers and relationship,” Bryant said. “So, we are actively open to accepting that role as parents when God blesses us.”
