Karl Stefanovic has shared a sweet tribute to country music legend Dolly Parton after her death at age 80.
The former Today show host posted the resurfaced interview, which was filmed for the breakfast television show in 2020, on his Instagram on Wednesday.
In the video, Karl launches into one of Dolly's iconic hits, her 1982 duet with Kenny Rogers, Islands in the Stream.
The TV host attempts to sing Rogers' first verse, inviting Dolly to launch into the second.
The singer obliged, delivering a gorgeous impromptu performance before throwing it back to Stefanovic by announcing, 'Take it Tarzan!'
Stefanovic attempted to continue, but did not have the necessary pipes to complete the difficult song, leaving Dolly giggling.

'I think you're gonna hurt yourself,' Parton drawled, laughing.
'Don't hurt yourself. I'm not responsible for that. I think we've done enough,' she added.
Stefanovic captioned the throwback video with a sweet tribute to the late singer.
'"Take it Tarzan." Some people just have it. She had it all. Love forever,' Karl wrote alongside the clip.
The video attracted dozens of positive comments from Karl, and Dolly's, fans.
'Omg adore her. We have lost such a rare diamond. RIP gorgeous Dolly,' wrote one person.
Another fan said: 'This is the one time where the word ICON should be used! RIP ICON.'
'Fabulous footage Karl. Treasured memory,' one more person commented, while another said, 'The world lost some of its sparkle today. Rest easy, Dolly.'

Parton's representatives subsequently revealed that the Jolene singer died following a 'brief battle with cancer' in a statement to People, though they did not disclose what type of cancer it was.
'Our beloved Dolly Parton spent her life and career bringing joy, laughter, hope and integrity into everything she touched,' the statement read.
'After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her Earthly life today at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center surrounded by loved ones.'
Her passing came after months of health woes that saw her pull out of a string of public appearances, fuelling fan fears for her wellbeing.
