Karl Stefanovic appeared to share a glimpse of his diary on Friday when he touched back down in Sydney following a trip to Melbourne to interview Adrian Portelli and Mick Gatto.
The former Today host, 51, appeared to be in good spirits as he was spotted departing from the airport while carrying an open notebook in hand.
Garbed all in black, Stefanovic unbuttoned the top of his shirt, which was tucked into a pair of jeans with a brown, western-style belt to match his boots.
The TV star-turned-podcaster was carrying his phone and a dishevelled writing pad in hand.
His notes appeared to include words like 'the village', 'happened with access' and 'clinic', as well as names.
While it is unclear exactly what was written on the page he had open, it appeared to be interview questions, possibly from his recent chat with controversial billionaire Adrian or Victorian gangland figure Mick.

Walking alongside Stefanovic was a man who appeared to be Suzuki general manager Michael Pachota.
Pachota was garbed in a black T-shirt and brown slacks with a purple coat added to his look.
Stefanovic also stopped to speak with photographers outside the airport as he waited for his Toyota ute, emblazoned with the logo of his new venture The Karl Stefanovic Show, to be delivered by valet parking.
When the photographer asked who Stefanovic had coming up on his podcast, he joked, 'Mate, are you trying to take the Today show job?' before revealing he had Adrian and Mick set to appear on the podcast.
The photographer then asked when his Castlecrag home renovation would be finished, to which Stefanovic replied, 'God knows,' before adding that he just has to 'keep paying the bills'.

It comes as Channel Nine's Today show is set for a shake-up next week with veteran presenter Samantha Armytage replacing fill-in Sylvia Jeffreys on co-hosting duties.
An industry insider told the Daily Mail that Armytage, 49, will be temporarily presenting alongside Michael Willesee Jr throughout next week, as the network continues its search for a permanent replacement for Karl Stefanovic.
The shake-up will see Armytage go head-to-head in the breakfast program war against her former Channel Seven Sunrise colleague Natalie Barr.
In March 2021, Armytage resigned from the long-running Seven show after eight years to spend more time with her family, and in September 2024 she signed with Channel Nine to host their reality TV series The Golden Bachelor.
Her appointment appears to be temporary as the network continues to consider its options for a more permanent replacement.
Nine's long-running breakfast show is currently without a permanent co-host after Stefanovic exited the series last month following an interview with Robinson, while co-presenter Sarah Abo is on maternity leave.
The network is also believed to be considering several options for its broader presenting team.
Longtime Newcastle NBN newsreader Jane Goldsmith is understood to be a leading contender for Today's newsreading role.
While Nine appears to have several strong female candidates in the mix, finding a permanent male co-host to replace Stefanovic is reportedly proving far more difficult.
The network is expected to use Abo's maternity leave as an opportunity to test a variety of on-air partnerships before making any long-term decisions on the future line-up.
