Kanye West's wife Bianca Censori has insisted he is an active participant in his children's lives, contrary to accusations by their mother Kim Kardashian.
Kardashian and West welcomed four children into the world - North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, six - before their marriage imploded in 2021.
Their co-parenting relationship has been fraught, with their private battles occasionally exploding into the public eye over such issues as Kardashian letting North on TikTok or West featuring her on a track with Diddy after his downfall.
West, who has bipolar disorder, has fiercely denounced the 'Kardashian mob' for allegedly curtailing his involvement in his children's lives.
Meanwhile Kardashian remarked on a podcast last year that West had neglected to call their children for 'a couple months,' and she argued on her reality show that his claims she was 'keeping the kids' were 'not true and not rational' inasmuch as he had 'never once called and asked' to see them.
Now Censori, who has been noted for her striking physical resemblance to Kardashian, has defended West as an 'awesome dad' in Vanity Fair.

She raved that West would 'build worlds' for his children, noting that he once left a photo-shoot she was participating in so that he could spend time with them at home.
'I remember one time they came over and he made the whole room foam so they could jump on everything. It’s really cute, especially if you’re a little kid - a tiny, short little bub,' said Censori, an Australian architect 17 years West's junior.
Kardashian painted a different picture of West's parenting this past October while speaking to Alex Cooper on her podcast Call Her Daddy.
She said that West sees the children 'whenever he'll call for them and ask,' claiming: 'It's probably been a couple months since we've heard from him.'
The reality TV superstar added: 'It's not easy no matter what, co-parenting with anyone - it's just the one thing that gets me is that there's this narrative that I keep the kids away from him. I've never once done that.'
She confessed that 'there's been so many times where I've been like: "Ah, I just want to show all of these texts, what are you talking about?"'
Kardashian recalled moments when 'it's all good and we're living our life and then I just wake up and there's all these tweets about how I've kidnapped the kids.'
She inveighed against West again on an episode of her family's Hulu reality show The Kardashians that aired the same month as her Call Her Daddy interview.
Censori has also maintained she and West are partners in devising the flesh-flashing looks that have helped make her infamous; pictured at last year's Grammys
'This person, we have four kids together. It’s very confusing, because it’ll be all this talk on the internet of like: "I’m keeping the kids,"' she said.
Accusing West of having 'never once called and asked' to see them, she said that she would 'wake up, and it’s on Twitter that I’m keeping the kids.'
In spite of her frustrations with him, she claimed she could not 'engage all the time' with his public comments and said: 'It's a divorce, not a kidnapping.'
By December, Kardashian and West enjoyed what appeared to be an amicable reunion in order to celebrate Christmas with their children.
Meanwhile, in Censori's new interview defending West's parenting, she also maintained that the two of them are partners in devising the flesh-flashing looks that have helped make her infamous around the world.
Ever since they secretly tied the knot in 2022, Censori has consistently shocked fans with the barely-there ensembles her husband styles for her.
A year ago, she left onlookers astonished by appearing on the red carpet of the Grammy Awards in a completely see-through minidress with no underwear.
Speculation has abounded that West has been pushing Censori into exposing herself, but she has now shot down the rumors to Vanity Fair.
'I wouldn’t be doing something I didn’t want to do,' insisted the Australian 31-year-old. 'Me and my husband would work on my outfits together.'
Said she: 'It was like a collaboration, it was never: "I was being told to do something." If you were married to Gianni Versace, wouldn’t he give you a dress or something?'
Censori took the further step of repudiating another stream of conjecture about her, namely that she married West to soak in the refracted glow of his fame.
'I didn’t marry my husband because I wanted some sort of platform. I married him because I love him. Is that like the corniest thing ever?' she said.
Although she acknowledged her position as a 'nepo wife' who was 'famous by association,' she observed that 'your image is replicated without your consent all the time. It’s replicated, it’s brought down, it’s picked apart, all those kind of things.'
Censori also admitted to 'an obvious obsession with nudity,' allowing that she 'was naked everywhere. I didn’t detach with it at any point. I consistently showed the same imagery over and over and over again. I live my artwork.'
However she also noted that she had been able to turn her self-exposure into a form of mystique, saying: 'I’m trying not to sound like I’m bragging, but it is not a position that anybody in time has ever had that much visibility without speech.'
She added: 'If it was just nudity, a lot of people would have that. But it also proves in a time that was so overexposed and vulnerable, that mystery still has power.'
Her remarks come after a source sensationally claimed Censori had attempted to exit her marriage to West several times in the past.
The insider alleged that they were able to repair their marriage only after he went to a Swiss rehab in order to cope with his bipolar disorder.
'I wouldn’t be doing something I didn’t want to do,' insisted the Australian 31-year-old: 'Me and my husband would work on my outfits together'
'Bianca had been very unhappy in their marriage for a while and tried to get out a number of times,' a source alleged to People.
'He's been in this vicious cycle for years. When he's not in a good space mentally, he tends to create so much drama, which then has lasting consequences.'
The insider then claimed that 'when he reaches a more stable place, he becomes very aware of the damages he's caused his family, friends and himself.'
West revealed he sought treatment in Switzerland in his recent full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal, in which he also apologized for his past antisemitic rants.
His career imploded and his billion-dollar fortune plummeted over the outbursts, which included praise for Hitler and a vow to go 'death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.'
