Kanye West's Wife Bianca Censori Addresses Theory She Was Forced to Do Nearly Nude Appearances
Bianca Censori is clearing the air.
Kanye West's wife of 3 years shot down speculation that the "Jesus Walks" rapper is behind the barely-there ensembles that she often wears during public appearances.
"I wouldn’t be doing something I didn’t want to do," Bianca told Vanity Fair in an interview published Feb. 6, noting that while she and Kanye often collaborate on her fashions, but every time she has appeared nude, it's been by her own volition. "Me and my husband would work on my outfits together. So it was like a collaboration, it was never ‘I was being told to do something.’"
The 31-year-old went on explain that she's always "had an obvious obsession with nudity," even before she became a public figure after beginning her romance with the Yeezy founder in 2022.
"I was naked everywhere," she said. "I didn’t detach with it at any point. I consistently showed the same imagery over and over and over again."
The architect added, "I live my artwork."
Bianca's rare public comments come after Kanye—who shares kids North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with ex Kim Kardashian—credited her for playing a pivotal role in his recovery amid his ongoing mental health struggles and bipolar disorder.
“Toward the end of my four-month-long manic episode, my medication was changed,” he said in an email interview with Vanity Fair published Jan. 27. “In that shift, the antipsychotic drug took me into a really deep depressive episode. My wife recognized that, and we sought out what’s been effective and stabilizing course correction in my regime from a rehab facility in Switzerland."
The 48-year-old added, “You must understand bipolar is a disease. It’s one of the most lethal nonterminal illnesses.”
He went on to share how his episode impacted his personal relationships.
“When you’re manic, you really don’t think that you’re sick,” Kanye said. “You think that everyone else is deeply overreacting. You feel like you’re seeing the world so much more clearly on things, when in reality you’re losing your grip entirely. That’s what it felt like at that time.”

Amid breakup rumors following comments West allegedly made about Censori’s mother—per a legal filing by a former assistant—the couple stepped out for a shopping trip in Tokyo. February 2025: Returning to the Red Carpet with Bang
The couple made a rare public appearance together at the 67th Grammys. On the red carpet, Censori dropped the gigantic coat she wore, revealing a nearly-nude look in a transparent dress.
After their photo moment, the duo left the venue, opting not to stay for the ceremony itself.
Following the Grammys, West shared several posts as a tribute to Censori and their night out together. “FOR CLARITY,” West wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “MY WIFE IS THE MOST GOOGLED PERSON ON THE PLANET CALLED EARTH.”
April 2025: Breakup?
West hinted at a rough patch in his marriage to the model in the song "BIANCA," rapping, "My baby she ran away / But first she tried to get me committed / Not going to the hospital ’cause I am not sick / I just do not get it."
But weeks after the song hit was released, he sparked reconciliation rumors when he posted photos of himself and Censori online.
