Kaia Gerber looks the double of Cindy Crawford as she cosies up to fellow nepo baby Homer Gere at The Shards party - 35 years on from their parents' whirlwind marriage

Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber and Richard Gere's son Homer cemented their nepo-baby titles while celebrating their upcoming new series. 

The duo, aged 24 and 26 respectively, continued blazing the promo trail for their new series, The Shards, created by Ryan Murphy. 

Kaia once again showcased her uncanny similariies to her supermodel mum as she wowed in an ab-flashing crop top and high-waisted skirt. 

Handsome Homer meanwhile proved the apple doesn't fall far from the heartthrob tree as he looked sharp in a dark suit.   

Homer and Kaia share a connection through their A-list parents, who got married in Las Vegas back in 1991 before divorcing in 1995.

The Shards, based on the bestselling novel by American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis, is an incredibly violent and sexually-charged story about a serial killer who stalks a group of privileged high schoolers in 1980s Los Angeles.

The novel is a fictionalized version of Bret's adolescence and many of the characters are based on real life people.

According to the show's official logline, 'Igby Rigney stars as Bret, an aspiring writer and keenly observant teenager whose reality begins to unravel with the arrival of a mysterious and magnetic new student, Robert Mallory (played by Homer).

'Transferring in just before his senior year, Robert’s appearance coincides with the growing terror of The Trawler, a serial killer targeting teenagers across the city,' it continues.

'Alongside Bret is his elite social circle, which includes Susan Reynolds (played by Kaia), Debbie Schaffer (Hayes Warner) and Thom Wright (Graham Campbell), a glamorous and deeply entangled group drawn into a life of wealth, beauty, parties and excess.

'The promise of their youth is contrasted with the dark and cynical world of the adults surrounding them: Terry Schaffer (Wes Bentley), Liz Schaffer (Evan Rachel Wood) and Steven Reinhardt (Jordan Roth).'

The Shards TV series was originally being developed by Oscar-winner Luca Guadagnino for HBO, but the project fell through before being revived by Murphy and FX.

With all the buzz around the series, it's likely that the racy series will further catapult Kaia and Homer to Hollywood stardom.

Kaia is already a big name in the modelling world, with the brunette beauty winning Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards back in 2018.

She's also graced the cover of Vogue magazine multiple times. As an actress, Kaia is best known for her recurring role in Palm Royale and the Anne Hathaway film Mother Mary.

Cindy was only 22 when she started dating Richard in the late '80s.  

In 2023, she revealed in the Apple TV+ series The Supermodels how she changed herself and her interests to align with Richard's when she began dating the Pretty Woman star in 1988.

'In the beginning of a relationship, when you’re a young woman, you’re like: "You like baseball? I like baseball,"' she said. 'You’re willing to kind of mold yourself around whoever you are in love with.'

Cindy was 17 years the junior of Richard, now 76, and the couple quietly eloped in 1991 after dating since 1988. She's now married to Kaia's father, businessman Rande Gerber, whom she wed in 1998.

Meanwhile Richard was married to Carey Lowell from 2002 through to their divorce in 2016. He's now married to his third wife, publicist Alejandra Silva.
