With the relentless winter finally letting up, our favorite shows have begun to come out of their hiatus hibernation to keep us entertained during these final days of cold weather and heavy snow. Last week, CBS’ Tracker returned from its midseason break to settle the cliffhanger that left fans in suspense for nearly three months. This week, the team is back at it with a brand-new episode of the hit procedural arriving on the network Sunday, March 8. In preparation for the installment, which is titled “To the Bone,” Collider is thrilled to unveil a sneak peek that previews the latest case that Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw has gotten involved with after a young man goes missing, leaving his family spinning and thinking the worst.

Last week, viewers watched the fallout of the midseason finale, which not only saw Colter reeling from his wounds but also put our hero on the run. As the drama unfurled, faces from the past popped into the fold, and we learned that everything that’s been happening goes much deeper than previously thought, with even the FBI getting involved in some shady dealings. With multiple lives on the line — including his own — Colter was forced to let go of control and allow his team to sit in the driver’s seat and steer him to safety.

This week, as viewers can see in our exclusive sneak peek, Colter’s back on the job. While there still may be plenty of plot lines from the midseason premiere that will come back into play down the line, our clip shows a different case unfolding. Hitting the streets, Colter finds an unhoused woman who has connections to his missing person and questions her about his whereabouts. Although she’s at first hesitant to help, she eventually gives Colter a rundown of what she witnessed. Colter’s worry peaks after the woman says she saw the missing man fighting someone before being forced into a car and carried off by his attackers. With his work cut out for him, Colter gives the woman some cash in exchange for her help and gets to cracking the case.

Will ‘Tracker’ Return for Season 4?

The great news for those tuning in is that Colter will most definitely be back for more crimes and capers next year, as the title has already been given the go-ahead for a fourth season.
